This game featured a ton of standouts, primarily from players I knew little about. I'm very excited to share my five evaluations from Coopersville!

I had caught wind of a few great performances from Isaac, but it wasn't until Friday that I understood the kind of player he is.

Isaac is a big, tall running back- built highly well for downhill power running. Plus, Isaac has sneaky-good speed, change of direction, and contact balance, allowing himself to find the edge and break through low-effort arm tackles. Lastly, Isaac was efficient on defense. He racked up a ton of tackles and had the stamina + toughness to go all four quarters without much slowing down.

I'm a bit surprised to see zero offers on Isaac's Twitter. From the one performance, I'd expect Isaac to be a D3 prospect.

Beau was very efficient and has shown vast improvement in multiple areas. First and foremost, Beau looks significantly bigger and stronger than in years past.

This allows him to be a great run threat paired with Isaac. Beau had a ton of carries and was a solid north-south runner with quite a bit of power but not a ton of contact balance (fell forward, rarely broke free). Plus, he was efficient with his few passing attempts.

Definitely a ton of improvement and good upside at the college level. If Beau wants to play college ball, he could develop at the D3 level or fit right in with an NAIA program.

Brooks caught my eye more than a few times.

Offensively, Brooks is a willing blocker and a solid deep threat. On several occasions, Brooks eliminated an opposing DB from the play, allowing his RB to find the edge and navigate more efficiently. During the few passing reps, Brooks flashed solid speed and was able to get open down the field.

Defensively, Brooks defended the deep pass well. If I'm not mistaken, he had an interception (and nearly 2+ picks). He was consistently in the right place at the right time, and made sure Kenowa Hills couldn't complete the deep bomb.

I need to get a better look at Brooks in the near future, but for now, I'd expect him to earn attention from D3s this Spring.

There's something about Coopersville and their offensive linemen. Hunter was phenomenal at left tackle, and he's only a sophomore.

During run reps, Hunter was consistently able to reach block, base block, down block, you name it. I really liked Hunter's first step and his hand placement.

While pass blocking, Hunter was equally great. I watch a lot of tackles who struggle with agility and, in turn, struggle with blocking faster EDGE rushers. Going against a pretty agile EDGE with some bend, Hunter did extremely well. When the defender tried to find the edge and rush outside, Hunter would flush him behind the QB. When the defender tired an inside move, Hunter had the agility to quickly adjust and keep his man in front of him.

Really good stuff from Hunter, and it's obvious why Coopersville constantly ran the ball his way. I fully expect Hunter to develop into a great GLAIC prospect at the very least.

Will is another great Coopersville lineman. Play after play, he dominated what was honestly a poor interior defensive line. Will is at his best when he's able to base/down block, where he's able to use his great power and leverage to pancake a defender. I didn't see a whole lot of pulling or blocking at the second level, but I also didn't watch as many reps as I would've liked to.

All in all, Will is an excellent high school guard who excels in short, explosive run blocks. Unfortunately, his size will significantly limit his recruitment. Still, really, really good guard and a super competitive player.
