[player_tooltip player_id='401086' first='Chancellor' last='Sparks'] is a really talented running back out of Parker that has steadily contributed in some big ways throughout his career. So far this year, Sparks has had a really productive junior season and last week's matchup was no different. Sparks was huge on the ground for Parker (7-1) in a dominant 37-0 shutout over Minor (4-3), consistently creating explosive runs off and finding ways to move the chains. Sparks plays with a ton of speed and toughness- he's quick on his feet, makes great cuts, can withstand some big hits, and has the speed to outrun entire defenses in the open field. Last week against Minor it was easy to see Sparks use these traits to his advantage- he ended the game with just 11 carries for 167 yards and a touchdown, making the most out of every carry throughout all four quarters. It's been really fun watching Sparks this season, he's become one of the best backs in his class and has had a couple of great performances for Parker's rushing attack this season. Watch out for Sparks going forward, he's a key piece of this Parker offense that is bound to keep making plays!

[player_tooltip player_id='1409002' first='Ladarien' last='Miller'] is a super talented sophomore running back out of McGill Toolen who has followed up his breakout freshman season in some big ways this fall. This past week, Miller came up huge in McGill Toolen's (4-3) 24-6 win over Blount (1-5) where he consistently carved up the opposing defense to move the chains and find the endzone multiple times. Miller has a terrific burst of speed out of the backfield that helps him make huge plays on the ground- once he breaks into the open field it's extremely hard for defenders to keep up with him. Miller plays with a ton of speed and elusiveness, and has a motor that allows him to consistently outrun and evade defenses throughout all four quarters. It was easy to see this against Blount last week- Miller finished the game with 150 yards and 2 touchdowns, consistently finding ways to exploit their defense throughout the entire game. It's been really exciting watching Miller this fall, he's done a great job building off his successful freshman year and shows no signs of slowing down. Watch out for him the rest of this season, he's a serious playmaker!

[player_tooltip player_id='286150' first='Calvin' last='Hughley'] has been highly productive for Opelika's run game over the last few years and is having a great senior season this fall that's featured him put up some dominant performances. Hughley had one of these performances last week when Opelika (7-1) faced off against Enterprise (4-3) in a 30-13 win- all throughout the game he made a bunch of crucial runs to move the chains and helped put this game away. Hughley is a really well-rounded and talented back that plays with a lot of physicality and finesse. Hughley has terrific contact balance, isn't afraid of taking hits, and has the speed and quickness to make defenders miss at every level of the field. It's been really impressive watching Hughley play this season- he's been a work horse of this offense and consistently creates explosive runs out of the backfield each week. Be sure to watch him the rest of this season, Hughley is a talented prospect that is bound to keep making big plays down the stretch!

[player_tooltip player_id='1514872' first='Stuart' last='Andrews'] has been having his best season yet for Mountain Brook this year- each week Andrews has put up ridiculous numbers against some tough defenses, and last week was more of the same. Last week, Andrews had another dominant performance on the ground against Pinson Valley (1-6) that ended with Mountain Brook (5-3) winning 47-30. Andrews is a physical back that thrives off his aggressive playstyle- he has great contact balance he uses to take big hits, runs through defenders, and is hard for defenders to wrap up and bring down. Andrews also has some great vision and field awareness, he does a great job finding open lanes and exploiting them for huge gains on the ground. It was easy to see Andrews's playstyle work this past week against Pinson Valley- he ended the game with 35 carries for 197 yards and 4 touchdowns. It's been awesome watching Andrews this season, he's been a huge asset to Mountain Brook's offense and has become one of the top backs in the state's 2026 class. Be sure to keep watching him throughout the rest of the season, he's definitely going to have more performances like this!
