Week 8 Game Balls Part 2

<p>Part 2 below</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1231295' first='Ethan' last='Lebkisher'] had 211 yards rushing with 1 touchdown in the Statesmen convincing win over Wakefield. He also had 11 total tackles at linebacker, he does not want Marshall's season to end in a couple of weeks. The Statesmen look like and have been playing like a playoff team all season, Lebkisher and company sure seem determined to get back to the postseason.</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1142130' first='Walker' last='Hillman'] is the workhorse back for the Gate City Blue Devils, he had a monster outing on Friday with 24 carries and 136 yards with two touchdowns. Hillman is a speedster with great vision, he rarely goes down on first contact. A 4.0 GPA and a soccer star for Gate City as well, his stock is rising week by week.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/SWVA_Sports/status/1847821080125231592 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='853886' first='LJ' last='Richards'] is breaking school records it seems weekly at this point. He had five total touchdowns against Hylton including 3 on the ground, Richards is their go to back. Quite the evening for our top ranked linebacker, he also added a pick six to his state line as well. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/LJRichards21/status/1847825102009692654 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">I was looking forward to seeing [player_tooltip player_id='1298294' first='Cole' last='Samburg'] in person and he is faster than what I saw on tape. Yorktown had no answer for him as he had two passing touchdowns and ran for over 160 yards, keeping the Patriots guessing all night. While many know Samburg most for his work on the lacrosse field, he is impressive to watch at quarterback for the Saxons too. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='853820' first='Calum' last='O'Shea'] is quietly having a near perfect season for the Battlefield Bobcats. A top 100 ranked kid out of the 2026 class, as we have discussed before, being on a squad of superstars, players like O'Shea can get lost in the shuffle. He has made his case as one of the best quarterbacks in the state this fall, including playing in a district that is loaded at the position. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Transitioning from quarterback to tight end junior [player_tooltip player_id='1297867' first='Anthony' last='Bello'] is going to be one to watch as we approach postseason play. The West Springfield Spartans seem to have their swagger back after some early season stumbles. Bello is starting to make plays at tight end and he had impressive touchdown in their win over West Potomac. Bello is 6'4 with good hands and wheels expect his name to rise in our updated rankings.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/aobello10/status/1847674951341396135 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1232496' first='Michael' last='Suris'] had a good game in the Bruins commanding win, throwing for 314 yards and 2 touchdowns. One of the better nights of his career, Suris has a few offers from division 2 and 3 schools where I personally think he can succeed at. It will be interesting to see how he is used as prominent co-starter [player_tooltip player_id='1297748' first='Tyrone' last='Jackson'] is expected back from injury before Lake Braddock's postseason begins.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Michael_Suris7/status/1844051750799704355 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1282094' first='Jake' last='Mulhern'] has been on point in Kettle's run perfect season thus far. Throwing for four touchdowns and 321 yards in their win over Sheranado, he has been lights out through his senior campaign. The Cougars know they have a three sport star in Mulhern and the question will be which sport does he play at the next level. At quarterback he has interest from a variety of schools and I would expect colleges to start sending offers soon. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700"> I swear right after I did my recruiting update post Skyline's [player_tooltip player_id='1236315' first='Isiah' last='Maxwell'] received an offer from Minnesota North. Oh well it wont be the last as the senior wideout is dominating each week and he added Liberty next to his latest targets. All he did this past Friday was haul in 3 touchdowns for over 100 yards receiving, just another day at the office for Maxwell.</p>    <p>The showcases are back once again and we are excited they are coming to Virginia this January!
