Wrote about Lebkisher in my game ball piece last week when he gashed Wakefield for 211 rushing yards. He seems to be humming at the right time for the Statesmen, I would expect the Hornets to be game-planning to contain him first before anyone else. He has good vision and is a north/south type of back, approaching 1,000 rushing on the year.
Defensively he is one of their leaders too at outside linebacker, the young man delivers a blow on each tackle. Expect his name to be called a lot tomorrow evening, he is a difference maker on both ends.

Senior Ethan Lebkisher Ethan Lebkisher 6'1" | 215 lbs | DL George C. Marshall | 2025 State VA had 211 yards rushing with 1 touchdown in the Statesmen convincing win over Wakefield. He also had 11 total tackles at linebacker, he does not want Marshall’s season to end in a couple of weeks. The Statesmen look like and have been playing like a playoff team all season, Lebkisher and company sure seem determined to get back to the postseason.

Lebkisher will have his hands full tonight trying to contain Knicely, Yates and this high powered offense. A good defensive tackle he will need to be quick off the snap to try and cause disruption to the Warhawks. If he and Elmrabet can win their matchups this will be a tight contest.

Ethan Lebkisher Ethan Lebkisher 6'1" | 215 lbs | DL George C. Marshall | 2025 State VA is strong and stout upfront for the Statesmen. Ranked among the top defensive lineman in his class, one of the stronger kids on tape I have watched. Earning first team all district honors for his work along the defensive line, it appears he is moving to linebacker this fall.
I will be curious to see how this goes as he does have the speed and awareness to make the transition. Either way, he is another reason why you can feel good about Marshal’s defense.
