[player_tooltip player_id='1474182' first='Amin' last='Moumen'] is coming into his own for the Fairfax Lions, accounting for four touchdowns in their blowout win over Woodson. Both him and his twin brother Zidane have both been having great senior seasons, and Zidane added a score in the second half as well. Amin has taking the lead recently it seems in a crowded Lions backfield, it seems to be working out well for Coach Taylor's offense. Fairfax is going to be a tough out come playoff time and with Amin humming look out.

I could of picked a number of players on Colgan's roster this week as they picked up their first win in school history over Freedom Woodbridge. Landed on Davis and he deserves it with his 3 touchdown and 92 rushing yard performance. Davis did that on just 7 carries and he also had a pick six, quite the night for the junior. He is a part of a 2026 group in Colgan that is impressive, other classmates such as George Hall, [player_tooltip player_id='853886' first='LJ' last='Richards'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1523123' first='Justin' last='Musselman'] made their presence known too.

Rustburg may have come up short against Liberty Christian Academy but that didn't stop [player_tooltip player_id='1297625' first='Ari' last='Reid'] from showing out. He made an impact and turned a lot of heads going against what may be the best offense in the state. Forcing a fumble and making several tackles for losses, Reid proved why he is a FBS level linebacker.

Talking about making a statement, quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1149062' first='Tyrell' last='Grant Jr']. did just that against Hickory with a 5 touchdown performance. Throwing for 4 and adding 1 on the ground, Grant had a night one forget anytime soon.

Stepping in at quarterback and rushing for three touchdowns, junior Tight End [player_tooltip player_id='1334068' first='Reynaldo' last='Linares'] did it all for the Lancers victory. One of the more athletic tight ends in the National District, Linares fill in under center for Lewis and he guided Coach Choates squad to their second win of the year. Lewis should get more healthy bodies in the upcoming weeks, with playmakers like Linares, [player_tooltip player_id='1334062' first='Jamal' last='Sesay'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1333038' first='Joel' last='Smith'], they opportunity to finish .500 or better is there.

[player_tooltip player_id='1362839' first='Izaiah' last='Gallagher'] was dominant along the Spartans defensive line, making a huge difference in their victory. Robinson's offensive line may still be having nightmares having to block him, he was all over the field. Tallying 11 tackles (it looked like more honestly) and 1 sack, Gallagher's relentless motor was too much for the Rams.

Senior Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1231526' first='Johnny' last='Callow'] had three touchdown passes in Herndon's victory over Chantilly. Callow is taking care of the football and is positioning the Hornets for a nice playoff run. Already having one of the better defenses in the region, Callow and company keeping their offense humming, the Hornets are going to be a tough out come November.
