Week 7 came upon us, and I traveled to Alumni Stadium to watch 2 top 100 teams in the state battle in an Central Catholic League showdown. St Francis DeSales came into the matchup at 5-1 taking on a Bishop Hartley team who sat at 3-3. DeSales would take this game at home 14-6, but many players for both teams caught my eye.

RJ is an impressive QB prospect who can make plays outside the pocket and sling the ball. Day made several plays on 3rd and 4th down, ultimately leading to a win against a tough Bishop Hartley team. With under three minutes left in the game, he found his lone touchdown, putting his team up 8 with under 3 minutes left in the contest. As his body continues to grow, he should rise coming into the next 2 seasons.

https://twitter.com/TylerStevens94/status/1842368198139679128

Brown is a weapon for this Stallions offense. Hartley did a good job at plugging gaps, but with Brown in the backfield, he often found something to gain on plays, and his opening score for DeSales put them ahead for what would be the entire game. He has legit takeoff speed once getting to the second level and also contributes to the kick return game. In Friday's game, Brown finished with 164 rushing yards and a score.

https://twitter.com/JVBrow3/status/1842420928912724378

Middleton came up huge in this contest. Late in the first half, he jumped a route and what would be a game-altering play before halftime. As a sophomore, he impressed a lot, often being in the right spot, and not letting anything get past him in the run game either. Like many of his teammates, with the growth of his body and getting more reps, Middleton is a prospect to keep your eyes on.

https://twitter.com/TylerStevens94/status/1842352565159125112

Lathon is the heart for the Bishop Hartley offense. Lathon is a physical back who can scrap for yards, but also offers the ability to bounce it outside and get yards. My favorite thing about Lathan is that his legs never stop churning as he tries to move forward with an attacking mind at all times. Lathon is going to be one of the runningbacks to watch going into playoff time and for next season.

https://twitter.com/TylerStevens94/status/1842348533069869302

Winbush offers an elite trait to this Bishop Hartley team, and its his speed. Winbush is an absolute burner as he is primarily used as a jet option in this offense. He primarily lines up in the slot and when he is used in the passing game, he is the number one target. His ability to make men miss is there, and if anything about football is true, speed kills.
