Virginia Recruiting Report

<p>We haven't done this in a bit so I wanted to update you on several Virginia Prospects in regard to their recruiting:</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Committed</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">28th ranked in the our Virginia 20206 class offensive lineman Brad Sakowitz announced his commitment earlier this week to North Carolina State. Playing for Trinity Episcopal Sakowitz had over 10 FBS offers but settled on the Wolfpack on October 14th. Standing at 6'7 and 320 lbs. the junior should be ready to play early for Coach Doeren's squad.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Brady_Sakowitz_/status/1845868554102427897 </div></figure>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Offers</strong></h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">I told you all this dude was a Division 1 Football player and he keeps proving me right. Picking up his 7th offer from North Carolina A&T last week, Harvey is a game changer both at corner and running back. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/MyykelllHarvey/status/1845193746306023552 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">North Cross [player_tooltip player_id='212459' first='Jase' last='Rhodes'] will be a power 4 football player in two years, that I am certain about. Where he ends up is undecided as he has 6 FBS offers including Liberty University two weeks ago. A two sport all state star Rhodes is already a 3 time state champion in track and could be bringing more hardwood by football seasons end. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Jase_Rhodes2026/status/1844037920094605480 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Top ranked 2026 defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='853777' first='Kamren' last='Johnson'] picked up his 6th Division 1 offer just earlier today from the University of Virginia. Playing for the Green Run Johnson is already 6'4 and 230 lbs. he is a force. Johnson will most likely have 10 plus FBS offers by this winter, you would have to believe Coach Elliot and his staff want to keep this talent in state. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Congrats are in order for Mountain View receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1219070' first='Tyler' last='Tanks'] who received his first offer this week from West Virginia Wesleyan. Tanks is a good big target at 6'5 and he runs well after the catch showing real explosion. This will not be the last opportunity to play at the next level he receives, many Division 2 and 3 schools will be coming his way soon. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/tyler_tanks/status/1845511461738590255 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Patriot linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1297598' first='Mathieu' last='Kanu'] has had a tremendous impact for the Pioneers defense. He was involved in numerous amount tackles in their big win to knock off Gainesville from the unbeaten ranks. Racking up 11 tackles and 4 tfls, it is safe to say his transition from Unity Reed has gone well. We have profiled Kanu before and he has gained more FBS interest ever since. The recent offer came in earlier this month from the Maryland Terrapins.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/Mathieukanu9/status/1843802368368095568 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1199699' first='Drew' last='Morgan'] has been accurate and precise as Yortown preps for an assumed playoff run. His excellent play has earned him not only a number of division 2 schools offer, but FBS Mercyhurst came thru as well.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/DrewMorgan25/status/1839681116099207428 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Robinson long snapper [player_tooltip player_id='1321224' first='Ben' last='Perdas'] is as good as it gets at the position locally and I like what Cole wrote about him this off-season. </p>   <p><em>He shows accuracy in his snaps and has been working this offseason to improve his <a href="https://x.com/BenPerdas/status/1791205478417985843" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">speed and zip</a> on snaps. He is good in coverage down the field on the punt team, showing good hustle downfield putting himself in position to recover muffed returns giving the ball back to his team.</em></p>   <p>I completely agree and I can see why he picked up an offer today from Culver-Stockton.
