For the past three seasons North Cross superstar Jase Rhodes Jase Rhodes 5'10" | 175 lbs | DB North Cross | 2026 State VA has light up the football field and won titles in track for the Raiders. To perhaps cap his fantastic career off he committed to James Madison earlier this week.

With over 15 Division 1 offers Rhodes chose the Dukes over Penn State and Tennessee. He could see action early their the all state defensive back is set for bigger things.

If you haven’t been keeping up Jase Rhodes Jase Rhodes 5'10" | 175 lbs | DB North Cross | 2026 State VA is continuing his high level of play in various sports for North Cross. Not only is he an all state defensive back, he is tearing up the winter track circuits and FBS coaches are taking notice. Up to 9 Division 1 offers his latest came in yesterday from Yale University! Rhodes is a star on the field and in the classroom, before his senior season kicks off expect him to have close to 20 offers.

Our top ranked DB in the class of 2027, Jase is quickly making a name for himself. He has elite athletic traits of change of direction, explosiveness, and lateral movement. These traits, along with his quick ability to read and process the field, give him very good range to cover the field from his safety position. He has very good ball skills to disrupt the pass and plays with physicality. Be sure to read what my colleague Carl wrote about Jase as well earlier this year. So far he has six Division 1 offers and more will come.

Where he ends up is undecided as he has 6 FBS offers including Liberty University two weeks ago. A two sport all state star Rhodes is already a 3 time state champion in track and could be bringing more hardwood by football seasons end.

The number 1 corner in 2026 class showed you why more Power 5 schools are coming after him. Rhodes had 5 tackles defensively and a whole mess of yards for North Cross on offense. It is clear he is going to be a factor on both sides of the ball. In their victory over Trinity Episcopal he showed why he can play receiver at the next level too.

One of our biggest risers from last year is North Cross superstar Jase Rhodes Jase Rhodes 5'10" | 175 lbs | DB North Cross | 2026 State VA . I told you about this young man before, since just a few weeks he has obtained an offer from Penn State too. With the new recruitment cycle underway, do not be surprised if he has 10 Power 5 offers, here is what I wrote last month:

One of my favorite prospects for this class is North Cross all state defensive back Jase Rhodes Jase Rhodes 5'10" | 175 lbs | DB North Cross | 2026 State VA for a various of reasons. Since we last wrote on him the multi sport star has picked up offers from Tennessee and South Carolina, his stock is soaring! When he is not picking up power 5 offers, Rhodes is dominating the track and field circuit for the Raiders, collecting multiple state medals in the triple jump and both the 4×100 and 4×400 relays, the kid is a star. Now that he has finally obtained a few well deserved offers, I expect the floodgates to open and numerous schools to send them.
