Stat Leaders- Top Wide Recievers of the Regular Season

Vinson has outmatched defensive backs all season long and made huge catches all around the field no matter who he's been lined up against. Vinson is tough to stop- he plays with great speed and has a set of seriously reliable hands. He's also a great route runner who easily gains separation at every level of the field- on tape it's hard to find a play where he's not getting open. Throughout the season, Vinson has been a reliable target for his team- he's hauled in 54 receptions for 1169 yards and 15 touchdowns this season and shows no signs of slowing down. It's been really impressive watching Vinson this season, he's consistently made huge plays all season long and is set up to keep doing so at the next level. With how well he's played, Vinson has picked up offers from USF, Jacksonville State, Samford, and plenty of other good programs! At 5'10 160, Washington is a shifty route runner out wide that can torch defenses for huge gains downfield. Washington plays with a lot of speed, can beat defensive backs off the line of scrimmage with his release, and has a great set of hands he uses to make huge catches along the sideline, through contact, and really wherever on the field. Washington has had a huge season for Pleasant Grove's passing attack this year- the senior has totaled up 54 receptions for 1128 yards and 14 touchdowns, consistently creating huge yards after the catch and making big plays against some talented defenses across the state. Collins has a ton of talent as a pass catcher and has been one of the leading receivers in the state this whole season. He's consistently found ways to get open, has a great set of hands, and has the speed and athleticism to take short plays for massive gains. It's really impressive watching Collins match up against defensive backs- he does a great job using his athleticism and physicality to his advantage and can do some great things after the catch as well. It's been easy to see this season, Collins has recorded 51 receptions for 1080 yards and 9 touchdowns this fall. Collins has had a huge breakout season this year- he's absolutely going to be a top wide receiver to watch next season. Jones is extremely good at getting open- he finds ways to gain separation against all types of defensive backs, at every level of the field, in every game. When he gets open, Jones does a great job securing catches and making defenders miss after the catch- he does a great job avoiding unnecessary contact and is able to make a ton of plays with the ball in his hands. Jones has been extremely reliable for his offense this season, and the stat sheet shows it- throughout this year, Jones has racked up 72 receptions for 1050 yards and 10 touchdowns. Hester, a senior wide receiver, has been consistently productive for Ohatchee's high-flying passing attack throughout his whole career, and this year has been his best season yet. Hester does a great job using his 6'0 175 size- he frequently outmatches defensive backs with how athletic he is. It's really impressive watching him go to work on opposing DBs, he can burn them downfield, inside and outside the numbers, and anywhere he's targeted. Hester has had a huge season this fall, he's recorded 61 receptions for 1035 yards and 13 touchdowns against some really tough defenses. Hester has had a dominant senior season and is going to keep making plays throughout the postseason.
