Week 4 had some high scoring games where some offensives at the Section V level were able to put up not only electric numbers but also electric plays deep down the field in the passing game. Take a look at the games that caught the attention of many and myself.

09/27 McQuaid vs Hilton

It was the game of the week with this matchup between McQuaid Jesuit and Hilton. QB Will DiMarco had a very impressive game to help get McQuaid the win. DiMarco had a 6-yard TD throw when he was able to hit his target in the back of the end zone. Later on, DiMarco again was able to hit a target on the boundary for a 48-yard gain and then squeezed in a 15-yard TD pass over a defender to take the lead. Zach Couch also got into the end zone for a 2-yard run to take the lead in the 4th quarter. McQuaid ended up leaving Hilton with the 28-24 win. McQuaid continues to look strong as they improve to 4-0 on the season. Hilton adds their first lost on the year in this game.

09/27 Webster Thomas vs Victor

A very close battle between Webster Thomas and Victor with a final score of 17-7 in victory of Webster Thomas. Punching in the first TD was RB Marco Morelli on a 9-yard run where Monrelli dragged a defender into the end zone. Being able to turn the game around for Webster Thomas was DB Jake Polizzi who intercepted a deep pass into Webster Thomas territory. WR Nasir Manthorne was also used heavily to move the chains on a few catches for Webster Thomas. The Webster Thomas offense ended the game with 287 total yards. In their close win over Victor.

09/27 Webster-Schroeder vs Churchville-Chili

A very exciting game here between Webster-Schroeder and Churchville-Chili. For Webster-Schroeder, they were down 8-0 early but WR [player_tooltip player_id='505385' first='Tyler' last='Washington'] scored on a 5-yard TD pass. QB [player_tooltip player_id='1539042' first='Kalin' last='Watkins'] was then able to hit WR Aydin Stephens for a 50-yard TD. Stephens was able to make a move on the defender in the middle of the field and take off for six. [player_tooltip player_id='505385' first='Tyler' last='Washington'] then showed up again for a 74-yard TD when Watkins hit him streaking in the middle of the field. Finally, a kickoff return in the fourth quarter gave Webster-Schroeder the lead 34 to 22 win. Watkins had a huge game passing for 170 yards and 3 TDs. The defense was also able to show out for Aquinas as they were able to recover a big-time fumble. To help put the game away were two big time scores by [player_tooltip player_id='1165903' first='Thomas' last='Levans III'] on a 19-yard TD reception and [player_tooltip player_id='1621904' first='Jeffery' last='Logan III'] on a 68-yard TD run. That TD run by Logan III was a huge run on a 2nd & 25 where Logan III burst right through the heart of the Penfield defense. Aquinas won the ball game with the final score of 28 to 15.
