Ravenwood was highly explosive both offensively and defensively on Friday night as the Raptors rolled past Franklin 28-7 to remain undefeated on the season. After witnessing the high-scoring affair in Brentwood, here's my list of top performers as well as my full game recap.

Claiming offensive MVP for his performance is [player_tooltip player_id='219435' first='Ben' last='Hubbard'], a wide receiver at Ravenwood High School. On top of an outstanding touchdown run in the first half, Hubbard impressed me with his breakaway speed and explosiveness down the stretch, proving he can break away from defenders and elevate off the ground to haul in the deep pass.

I was additionally impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='820942' first='Donovan' last='Starr'], a defensive back at Ravenwood High School. Starr made an immediate impact on the offensive side of the ball, hauling in a clutch touchdown pass on the home team's first offensive drive of the contest. On top of his great wingspan and catching ability, I liked how Starr could juke out defenders after the catch and absorb contact en route to the endzone.

Earning defensive MVP for his performance is [player_tooltip player_id='1159791' first='Jayden' last='Smitherman'], a defensive back at Ravenwood High School. Smitherman was unstoppable through four quarters, causing complete chaos for the opposition in the pocket. Smitherman proved his ability to apply pressure on the quarterback, read the quick handoff and make crucial stops when it mattered most.

Catching my attention once again was [player_tooltip player_id='501903' first='Aiden' last='Elmore'], a defensive lineman/linebacker at Franklin High School. Elmore made a huge difference at the line of scrimmage, showcasing his ability to read the offense like a book and shut down the offense off the quick handoff. I also liked how Elmore could attack playmakers in the pocket in crucial moments, proving he can make the defensive difference at the goal line.

Making his presence known on the offensive end was [player_tooltip player_id='1103577' first='Caden' last='Pace'], a running back at Ravenwood High School. Pace made a huge difference in the fourth quarter, securing the victory for the Raptors by blasting into the house for the touchdown. What impressed me about Pace's playstyle was his ability to absorb defensive contact and fight for extra steps on his way into the endzone.

Another standout was [player_tooltip player_id='402559' first='Maverick' last='Chance'], a quarterback at Ravenwood High School. Chance made his presence known at the helm of the offense in the fourth quarter of action, running in a touchdown from one yard out to extend the Raptors lead over the Admirals. What makes Chance such a playmaker is his ability to play quick and break tackles on his way into enemy territory. I also like how Chance can utilize openings in the defensive line to break free into the house.

Making a huge difference down the stretch was [player_tooltip player_id='1129813' first='Lucas' last='Young'], a wide receiver at Franklin High School. Young stood out in the first half, hauling in an impressive touchdown to tie things up 7-7. What made Young so explosive was his breakaway speed and ability to overpower defenders in the backfield to get wide open for the touchdown pass.

Also worth mentioning is [player_tooltip player_id='1476160' first='Luke' last='Thompson'], an athlete at Franklin High School. Thompson made a number of impactful offensive plays for the Admirals, proving his ability to consistently stun the defense with his speed and durability on the run. Thompson caught my eye with his excellent footwork and ability to shake tackles in the pocket.
