It's that time of year where we start to see prospect commitments and that's what has started to happen here in Tennessee. Some of the best seniors in the Volunteer State just recently made their college decisions and inside this article, we breakdown each commitment and their impact on the next level.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='378901' first='Andre' last='Adams'] - Antioch

* Committed to Colorado *

- This was a big piece to come off the TN2027 board as Adams is competing for a few others to be our top ranked senior quarterback. His decision to choose Colorado was a tad bit surprising as we don't see many signal callers from the Volunteer State head out West. Adams is banking on the development by the Colorado staff to turn him into the next Shedeur Sanders and I can see some similarities in both players. The Bears signal caller is headed into his senior season with big expectations to bring home a region title and contend for a state championship while also being a top contender for 6A Mr. Football. Adams certainly has the mental makeup and arm talent to accomplish those feats and head into college life at Colorado on a major high.

Talent Acquisition: The Buffs are getting a cerebral signal caller that plays a calm, poised style of game that translates well to the big stage of college football. His arm talent and athleticism plays up as well. Adams has smooth mechanics along with enough arm strength to make all the throws and the understanding of timing. He is an accurate passer that reads coverages well. His football intelligence and maturity should give him a shot to learn the Colorado offense early in his career and potentially compete for playing time. I do believe the Buffaloes gained a future starter and someone that fits their offensive style in a major way.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='905003' first='Brayden' last='Santibanez'] - Collierville

* Committed to Iowa *

- This Memphis area quarterback watched his stock rise significantly over these off-season months where Santibanez became a Power Four prospect and now a commitment of the Hawkeyes. The Dragons senior chose Iowa over schools like Cincinnati, Iowa St., Kansas St., Maryland, North Carolina and Rice but I wouldn't be surprised to see bigger programs get involved before Santibanez signs on the dotted line. That's how talented I think this kid is and how high the ceiling appears to be. Going with the Hawkeyes looks to be a good decision as Santibanez fits the style of quarterback the Iowa coaching staff looks for. If this 6 '3 dual threat quarterback develops at a good rate, I could see Santibanez competing for the starting job sooner than later while with the Hawkeyes.

Talent Acquisition: I think this is an almost a perfect fit between Santibanez and Iowa as he fits what the staff looks for in the position and I believe in time, he may be one of the best they have ever signed. The Dragons senior signal caller has tons of upside with room to grow as he continues to mature. Santibanez may have the most talented arm inside our senior quarterback class. He displays power and zip with the ability to push the ball down field. Santibanez is also one of the better athletes from this position as well with the speed to out run the opposition. The tools he brings to the field are exceptional, now it's just about putting it all together and performing consistently on a weekly basis.

(QB) [player_tooltip player_id='693877' first='Cameron' last='Kruse'] - Page

* Committed to Kansas St. *

- There is a lot to like about this Mid-Tennessee quarterback and his fit with Kansas State. Kruse chose the Wildcats over a large group of offers that included Memphis, Northwestern, Toledo, Troy, West Virginia and others. What Kansas St. is getting in Kruse is a winner, a state champion that brings a nice mix of passing upside and dual threat abilities to the playing field. The Patriots senior is one of the better dual threat options we have within our senior class but Kruse is a pass first guy that will look to drive the ball down field. This guy is a calm, cool customer behind center as well. His maturity and feel for the game may allow Kruse to see the field early at Kansas St. and potentially hold on to the starting job for many years to come.

Talent Acquisition: Kruse is the kind of quarterback that should fit nicely inside the Wildcats offensive style of play. Looking at his junior film, he almost looks nearly perfect for Kansas St., which is why I think the Pats signal caller has a chance to see the field early in his Wildcats career. Kruse is a pass first dual threat that shows good arm strength along with accuracy and timing. Once he decides to tuck it and run, this 6'2 quarterback is tough to bring down due to his balance and speed. More work is needed with reading defensive coverages while getting bigger but the building blocks are in place to become a Big 12 starting quarterback one day.

(WR) [player_tooltip player_id='1103038' first='Brylan' last='Oduor'] - Riverdale

* Committed to Auburn *

- After landing several big offers throughout the process, Oduor decided to take his name off the open market this past weekend by committing to Auburn. The Tigers coaching staff pursued heavily for Oduor and I can see the fit. The Warriors senior wideout ultimately chose the Tigers over Arkansas, Indiana, Louisville, Miss. State, Ole Miss, South Florida, Vanderbilt, Wisconsin and others. While I still think schools will continue to come after Oduor, I wouldn't be surprised to see this Mid-Tennessee product stick with the Tigers in the end. This Fall will be his one and only season at Riverdale but it could benefit Oduor as the Warriors like to throw the ball and this 6 '3 pass catcher looks to be their go-to guy. I personally think Auburn got a steal here and someone that might have a future beyond college football.

Talent Acquisition: What the Tigers are getting in this senior pass catcher is someone with college made size that competes well against physical contact and has the ability to run past defenders once in the open field. Oduor isn't a blazer but he is fast enough to force defenses to double team him, especially over the top with a safety due to his physical size. This guy has red zone threat written all over him. Oduor also may be the best blocking receiver in this class, which is a trait that could take him far in football. Auburn did a great job of targeting this guy and going all in at receiving his commitment. I think it will pay off big in the long run where Oduor could develop into an All-Conference performer.

(WR) [player_tooltip player_id='817933' first='Jamir' last='Dean'] - Alcoa

* Committed to Penn St. *

- Throughout this recruiting process, I always viewed Penn St. as a top contender for Dean when they offered and it proved to be right as this East Tennessee wideout recently chose the Nittany Lions. The Tornadoes senior playmaker went with the Big Ten power over offers from Arkansas, Michigan St., Minnesota, Miss. State, Purdue, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin and others. The Penn. St coaching staff scouted and targeted Dean as someone that fits their scheme but also provides a lot of upside as he is still far from a finished product with a lot of upside left to go. His game could work well in the Big Ten as an outside receiver that can take the top off with his speed but also develop into a solid run blocker as well. Dean is an athletic young man that might prove to be a steal years down the road for Penn State.

Talent Acquisition: What the Nittany Lions are getting here with Dean is a natural athlete out wide that brings nice size, ball skills and separating speed to the playing field and he still has a lot of room for growth. Dean sits at about 180 right now but could easily add 20 to 25 pounds once he arrives in State College. Once he is able to pack on the weight, Dean could contend for a starting spot and become that playmaker the Nittany Lions offense has been missing for the last few years. I do think it will take a little while before Dean is able to make an impact but given time for him to get after it in the weight room while learning the college game, the Tornadoes senior could become a weapon for the Nittany Lions offense.

(TE) [player_tooltip player_id='402854' first='Judah' last='Lancaster'] - Brentwood Academy

* Committed to South Carolina *

- A new addition this Fall to the Volunteer State, Lancaster decided to make his college choice last weekend by going with South Carolina over other offers from the likes of Auburn, Kentucky, Memphis, Vanderbilt and others. According to the Eagles tight end, he felt like South Carolina was home for him and it might end up being a good decision as I see a good fit with the Gamecocks. Standing 6'5 230 pounds, Lancaster brings SEC size to the field along with deceptive athleticism and the willingness to block. This is a talented young man that still has room for growth in several areas. It may take some time before Lancaster carves out a big role at South Carolina but the Gamecocks could be getting a future starter here with upside beyond the college level.

Talent Acquisition: Lancaster is a multi-versed prospect that I believe fits in well with South Carolina tight end's room. The Gamecocks like to use multiple tight ends and Lancaster can do a little bit of everything from flexing out in the slot or playing on the line. I see his future as an intermediate style pass catcher that can generate yards after contact due to his physicality. I see blocking upside with the Eagles tight end as well. More development is needed with Lancaster to become a full time starter in college, especially with his speed and explosion off the ball. If he can enhance those two areas along with the rest of his game, South Carolina might have an impact player on their hands that could contend for All-Conference honors.

(TE) [player_tooltip player_id='1103559' first='Sutton' last='Gutting'] - Riverdale

* Committed to Mississippi State *

- The Bulldogs might have gotten themselves a long term steal with Gutting, especially if he continues to develop and project towards the kind of player I think he can. I have seen good progression from this Mid-Tennessee product over the past year where I think he could be in store for his best season yet. Playing for Riverdale his senior season, Gutting has a chance to showcase his pass catching upside further along while upgrading his blocking. Mississippi St. is getting a tight end here that brings a nice combination of athleticism and physicality to the field that I think translates well to the Southeastern Conference. I actually think the Warriors tight end has higher levels to his game, which will be flushed out during his time in Starkville. I think this is a sneaky good pickup for the Bulldogs that fits their offensive scheme well.

Talent Acquisition: Looking towards the future, the Bulldogs might have a good option in Gutting that can flex out when needed but also block on the line of scrimmage. The Warriors senior is a physical competitor that moves guys with his blocking. He is an underrated athlete that I think can develop into a talented pass catcher at State that can stretch the field on occasions while also creating yards after the catch. Gutting does need to continue getting bigger and stronger but he is already well built with a lot of room for growth. I see a good fit between this Mid-Tennessee product and the Bulldogs. He competes hard while providing athletic upside inside a passing attack that likes to use the middle of the field. Gutting could develop into a dangerous weapon that shines in the Bulldogs offense.

(Ath) [player_tooltip player_id='1693399' first='Jeremy' last='Ramsey'] - Ravenwood

* Committed to Jacksonville St. *

- This Mid-Tennessee prospect took advantage of having a committable offer early in the process when he decided to take his talents to Jacksonville State. Ramsey is a two-way talent that still hasn't scratched the surface of who he can be and I think the Gamecocks coaching staff sees the potential in what he can bring to the field. A natural athlete with length and speed, the Raptors senior prospect displays upside on offense as a potential slot receiver that can run past his opponent and on defense where he brings versatility, including upside at cornerback. I believe Jacksonville St. is bringing Ramsey in as a receiver first but he could easily start out in the secondary as well. I think some of that depends on how he performs in the Fall and shows where his upside sits the best.

Talent Acquisition: The Gamecocks are getting a high character young man that is still growing into his body and his game. Ramsey brings big play abilities to the offensive side of the ball while showing potential as a versatile performer in the secondary. I am personally leaning towards defense for Ramsey but I can easily see why Jacksonville St. might like him on offense. This is a talented prospect that displays a lot of upside that can be developed much further under a college system. Time will be needed for the Raptors athlete to get bigger and become better acclimated with the college game but eventually, I think Ramsey could develop into a playmaker that excels on either side of the ball.
