I don't think I've ever talked to a college coach who's said "nah" to an offensive line recommendation. The fact of the matter is that practically every college in America is ALWAYS looking to recruit offensive linemen. Here are five offensive linemen who I think will have a ton of luck in the recruiting scene this offseason.

If you couldn't tell already, Pavel is someone I am extremely excited about heading into this offseason.

Right now, I have him ranked as an elite Division 2 prospect, and I fully expect (but do not guarantee) that he'll receive plenty of GLIAC offers.

Size is half the battle at offensive line, and Pavel passes that test with flying colors. I'm not sure about his arm length, but he's a true 6'7" and moves extremely well for his size. I see a lot of taller, skinnier linemen fail to earn offers because of their wonky movement, and that is NOT Pavel. He's tall, very well-built, and moves better than some D1-offered offensive linemen.

After watching Pavel in person and on film, I can confidently say that he has good enough fundamentals to impress a lot of coaches. When it comes to pass blocking, he might struggle early on in the offseason, but I know he has the basics down and will 100% get coached up as long as he attends camps. His run blocking is equally good, but not great.

Pavel is raw, and there will be a great learning curve once he gets to college. Though, the sky is the limit. He's a 3-sport athlete, has the size, and decent fundamentals. Again, no guarantees, but I'd be shocked if Pavel isn't an elite GLIAC prospect.

Timmer is another very interesting prospect, and my gut tells me that he'll also land with a GLIAC squad.

I JUST watched Jacob play a few hours ago, and I am extremely comfortable with where I have him ranked. In short, Jacob has elite size and fine fundamentals, but there's a ton to improve upon.

In the run game, Jacob does his job. He can reach block, down block, make it to the second level, etc. Same with pass blocking- he does his job. I am extremely confident that Jacob knows what he's doing, but he doesn't always know how to do it in a detailed manner.

For instance, I watched a late-game pass rep where Jacob did an excellent job getting his hands on the defender and locking out. By all accounts, Jacob did his job- until the defender cut inside and earned a critical late-game sack. On that play, Jacob let his pad level get way too high, and he completely stopped moving his feet. He could have completely eliminated the DE from the play, but instead, he didn't play through the whistle.

Lastly, Jacob could improve with his all-around athleticism. Better footwork would help, too.

Great size, good high school player, and someone who'll probably have an opportunity to play excellent D2 football.

Eli is one of the best sub-6'3" linemen in Michigan. Right now, I'd say Eli will receive GLIAC offers, but there's also a chance he's a MIAA guy. In fact, I have him ranked right in the middle of my D2 guys.

The reason I'm not super confident in my evaluation is that I don't have in-person notes on Eli, and his tape is just a step behind other great "small" linemen (Simonson, FHE & Hein, Spring Lake- both GLIAC prospects).

My opinion of course, but the main difference in Eli's film is that he's a step slower and less explosive than the guys I listed above. Though, I think Eli is every bit as fundamentally sound. I really like Eli's footwork, I like how he finishes blocks, and I like, but don't love, how he moves in the open field. All he needs to do is attend camps and ball out, which Eli is no stranger to.

Jack is someone who has been on my radar for a while, but it wasn't until this season that he put together consistent tape. Right now, I have Jack ranked near the bottom of my D2 prospects.

On one hand, it's apparent to me that Jack is raw. He doesn't move extremely well, footwork is inconsistent, and overall it looks like he's still learning the position.

On the other hand, Jack is far more polished than some of the other super-tall offensive linemen who frankly never figured it out. In addition, his Junior season tape looks much better than last year's. This year, he finishes more blocks, is all-around more aggressive, and looks a little more agile.

As long as Jack's true height and weight are what's listed, I see him being a MIAA or GLIAC guy. I hope Jack is able to get coached up early this offseason before the spring evaluation period from May - July.

Brody is another prospect who I have ranked in the middle of my D2 tier.

Stoney Creek does a great job with their offensive linemen, and Brody is no exception. In short, I like Brody's all-around game as a run blocker. He can execute a wide variety of blocks, and he knows how to finish blocks. His footwork is also quite good.

One big question remains- pass blocking. The reality is that you have to be decent at pass blocking with no pads in order to receive offers. A lot of people think that's backwards, including me, but I guess that's the best we can do during the no-pad period.

Anyway, as long as Brody is true to his size and practices his pass sets, I'd expect GLIAC schools to come calling. His story will be told during the Spring, and I hope to see him at plenty of camps.
