<p>Three game film highlights are being created, and we have begun our 2024 film eval season. In this report, I will preview several prospects that are new to us or were already known to us and have broken into our class rankings for their respective class rank. This is after viewing their early highlight films from this 2024 season.</p>   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1524257' first='Jason' last='Stephens'] - He is a beast with a solid 6'4 frame and can move. The first clip in his reel displays a nice burst, with good arm extension and powerful bull rush while reading and reacting to ball carrier to make the tackle. He uses good leverage to move or shed blockers. Appears very strong at the point of attack. He has an unverified 40-time post of a 4.8 with a 320 bench 440 squat on his Twitter. He relentlessly pursues each rep. He has the "get off" first-step quickness with explosiveness that will attract college coaches' attention. He has a solid frame that can bend. He plays with an obvious motor that stands out. I see him as an accumulative sack guy at the next level. He was on the watch list prior to this 2024 season and will be added to the c/o 2027 rankings during the next update.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1001829' first='Nick' last='Balicki'] — He can read and get around blocks. He finishes tackles with power, takes good pursuit angles, and can make open-field tackles. He understands where to be in zone coverages and drops. He stands at 6'0, 185lbs and has earned varsity time as a starter, and is only a freshman. He has very good power in the lower body while displaying a bull rush technique. Keeps eyes on the backfield, indicating the ability to read the screen well. Niven's frame stands out at an early age. I can easily imagine that he will become even more developed throughout his high school career. Has a huge ceiling that could attract many college programs. He will be added to our c/o 2028 first rankings list when published.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1475557' first='Jayden' last='Mcguffie'] - I observed his early 2024 season film before the film was removed from his Hudl profile. He is quick, fast, and twitchy. Runs with a purpose and has the it factor. He makes defenders miss in the open field. Very shifty. In an early season game, he set a program record with 342 yards rushing and six touchdowns as a varsity freshman. He rushed for five TDs and added a 72-yard touchdown reception for 414 total yards. He will be added to our c/o 2028 first rankings list when published. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1524279' first='Tre' last='Bolden']: He is a force. The film shows aggressive and physical play. He uses good hand extension to stand up or shed blockers to read and react with power and strength to the ball carrier. He tackles low and keeps his feet moving once engaged. He can use different moves.</p>      <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1013530' first='Alex' last='Villa']: He was formally ranked as a QB and is now projected as a DL or Edge guy. This is based on a new early 2024 season film. Will be re-ranked as an OLB edge prospect. His 2024 early film has him positioned at LB. He could become a down guy if developed and added more weight. The film shows good aggression, uses his hands well, and has the athleticism, power, and frame to build. Has told me he wants to play LB at the next level. Ran a verfied 4.97 40 at the 2024 NEGD camp timed by college coaches. He is a prospect that will likely see a boost during the next rankings update for c/o 2025. </p>      <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1521094' first='Josh' last='Berglund']: He is starting varsity at the prep school level. Gets upfield fast after the catch with consistent YAC. He can make defenders miss in the open field. Takes quick steps in either direction while cutting away from defenders. Hands are solid. Has an unverified 34-inch vertical and 4.6 40-inch. He will be added to our c/o 2028 first rankings list when published.</p>
