Midseason Unranked Seniors Spotlight: QBs & RBs

It's time to shine a spotlight on some unranked prospects who may have been under the radar heading into the season but deserve notoriety at the halfway point of the season. Cain and the Indians' offense have been able to open up the passing game more this season and he's continuing to develop as a passer on top of his innate running ability. He's a very good scrambler and does a great job of extending plays and making something out of nothing consistently. He can run traditional option plays as well and is a quality athlete who can take off and run when needed as more of a power runner at the position. Snyder is a good athlete with quality size and is dangerous when he gets out in space as a runner. We're unsure if he has running back experience in the past, but Massey appears to be a natural at the position. He's shown good vision and balance as a runner and runs hard creating missed tackles. He's rushed for 250 yards and 6 touchdowns while averaging over 5 yards per carry his season. Honakr has good size at 6'0 185 and has a nice combination of speed and power that can break loose in the open field or run through arm tackles. His footwork looks good and he's able to sidestep defenders and change running lanes while maintaining his hard-nosed downhill power that he's showcased in the past. He's also proven to be lethal on bubble screens out of the slot as they find creative ways to get him in space. Hale is explosive out of the backfield who can reach top speed quickly and is elusive in the open field. Starwderman has good speed and quickness but possesses quality strength and power for his size which creates issues for opposing defenses. He welcomes contact and will put his shoulder down and try to run through defenders even at 5'5 165.
