Has a two-and-a-half-minute Mid-Season tape posted on Hudl, his tweet link caught my eye during the week. First rep on tape has him screaming off the edge and pursuing for a TFL. Carey's next rep after recording a TFL has him flashing soft hands in the flat after releasing from an in-line TE pre-snap alignment. This catch going for a North Hills score. Carey would score again on tape via Y Leak. Good pursuit angles taken, good finisher. Long arms that stab the chest of OTs, Carey can create a gap between he and his matchup to shed inside or out. This often leads to an open lane to pursue ball carriers. A name local D3s should definitely have stashed. Wouldn't be surprised to learn if some Western PSACs show him love.

Edison's [player_tooltip player_id='1508929' first='Wilmer' last='Basilio'] landed on our Watchlist this off-season, strictly a big-body kid at the time of discovery, no seasonal tape to be uncovered.

Fast forward to tonight, Basilio caught the attention of local media with a resounding 3.5 sack performance against Kipp. The young man stands at 6'5, weighs in at 235 pounds. A basketball frame on a pass-rushers body. An unoffered senior, Basilio speaks of being new to football, which explains the lack of tape. Yes, competition level isn't astounding and the kid is as raw as can be, yet hopefully, with a bit of exposure, a program in Eastern Pennsylvania can provide him with an opportunity to play next-level ball. The TE position should and likely will be explored. Excited to see the young man play at some point.

Has experience playing across the LOS, OC/OG/OT capable while also being able to align as an IDL. Tape begins with Perrotta flattening a defender from the center position, a position I'd figure he would have out-grown, especially standing at 6'4. High impact guard, can be deployed to work as a weak side guard and/or strong side. Does a great job staying square after locating his match up. Can steer defenders away from specific holes. Perrotta can displace, he's got collegiate-level leg drive. Feet can shuffle to get his hips and backside into the hole. Has some pass-pro reps displayed at guard, doesn't let the defense in on his chest during said reps. Perrotta will still bring a shock/punch in pass-pro to catch defenders off-guard in their pursuit. Ton of power to be unleashed against opposing guards too. Perrotta is likely bigger than guards and centers, he can man-handle smaller competition when aligned as a 1/3 tech. A ton of production to sift through after six games. Perrotta is currently by Clarion University.

Has a three-minute tape on Hudl that fully encompasses what he brings to the trenches. A beefy center with a motor that revs to the whistle. A down-blocker who can finish off IDLs who are caught off-guard. Power, mass, grip strength, hip torque and leg drive, all positives after watching Glover work at center for Shamokin. Not an overwhelming athlete, not a kid who is going to storm downfield looking to destroy guys at the second-level. Glover's a big-body who excels between the A gaps. Likely a nose guard capable prospect too, however unsure if he's seen reps there this season. Likely a smart decision-maker, witnessed combing with his play side guards at times. Would love to see if he's a capable mover at guard, is he a pass-protector? Excited to learn more in the future.

A junior athlete whose six score game caught my attention this past weekend. 25 carries, 250+ rushing yards with six total touchdowns to his name, this production enough to impress me if it were mid-season stats. This was this past weekend's production line out of Freeport's [player_tooltip player_id='1517016' first='Amos' last='Glenn']. There isn't much to uncover in terms of measurables, GPA, or multi-sport participation. Glenn hadn't posted on Twitter up until his mid-season tape had been made.

Taking a look at the much-anticipated tape, Glenn starts off his tape proving he can be a reliable option on special teams. Glenn houses a kick-return, a rep that showcases both his patience and burst. Has multiple returns on tape. A back who can run both inside and outside zone at the HS level. A back who likes to deliver the blow if he can, as opposed to taking one. Plays a bit bigger than his size suggest on tape. Quite the set-up man, can cut out of his cleats to make defenders miss, all the while being able to lull defenders asleep in the open-field. Talks of a knee injury are hardly visible, ton of displacement on cuts. Can be asked to block, comfortable running counter, trap, power, all out of gun. Contact balance is there post-injury. Would be ranked relatively high. An obvious choice in the screen/swing/out game I might add.

Intriguing build, stands at 6'3", weighs in at 185 pounds. Can double as a wideout/EDGE prospect. Is a current sophomore at William Allen HS, self-reports a 3.5 GPA. Is a track runner from what I can gather.

Has a three-minute highlight tape showing off his production through four weeks, with another two single-game cut-ups showcasing production from Weeks 5 and 6. Early reps are in slow-motion, a huge no-no. Was around a ton of turnovers against a poor team who struggled just to possess the ball. Had two forced fumbles, a scoop-six, and another score in this one. all from his EDGE alignment. Tape gets better as it progresses. Has obvious length to stab would-be blockers to keep them at length. Athletic and strides to the football quickly. Some reps are lackluster, some reps really wow you and have you feeling like there's a real player to be developed here. Would love to see him at wideout or TE. Likely to be ranked among his 2026 peers with a ranking update looming.

The second Freeport prospect on this list, I must've been half asleep while going through their Hudl this past Summer. Unassuming in terms of height and weight, Hudl has him down for 5'9, 145 pounds. 3.8 GPA is his best number. Can be utilized by Freeport as a DB or a slot option to throw to.

Neistein posted his mid-season tape (two minutes long) just a couple days earlier into this week. Useful as an inside or outside slot pass-catcher who is often the second/third read in a set. Wheels, Posts, late-breaking routes are where Neistein provides value. Not the X of an offense, yet seemingly a reliable 2nd/3rd option who has come up clutch in big situations. Utilized in jet-sweep sets close inside the 20, Freeport hoping Neistein can serve as a playmaker in these situations. Find a seam and hit it type of prospect. A tough wideout to find and jam in bunch situations. Understands subtleties of a release, Neistein is easily lost if you're not physical with him. Has an interception under his belt, along with some open-field tackles. Solid player.
