Mid-Season Breakout Players in WNY (Small Schools)

But there have been several players that have been having solid performances week in/week out without any one game standing out more than the others. This list features such players. The players are mostly sophomores/juniors and did not get much recognition from their 2023 season. I have also excluded players I have recently tagged in the previous five weeks. With so many schools in the area, I am breaking up the list into two categories; Big Schools &amp; Small Schools. But a new QB came in this season and Coleman has proved to be an amazing passing target, leading Section VI with 588 yards - including 231 in the season debut. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>New Eden/North Collins QB [player_tooltip player_id='747255' first='Brady' last='Waring'] has been taking Class C by storm, throwing for 1,440 yards and 15 TDs to just 1 INT in 5 games. Just like the younger Nellis, Isaiah has been a welcomed part to the Raiders offense. Prior to not recording a reception in their last game, Isaiah was their second leading receiver in each of the previous 4. In those 4 games, he has caught 26 passes for 400 yards and 5 TDs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>QB [player_tooltip player_id='1344653' first='Brayden' last='Gibbs'] is leading Section VI in passing TDs with 16, while averaging over 200 yards per game. The following WRs have been putting up big numbers in place for injured 2023 leading reciever [player_tooltip player_id='807877' first='Carson' last='Fairbank']. While Nick has more catches and yards, it is Hewes that is leading the pack with 7 TDs. With Fairbank back, it will be interesting how Gibbs spreads the ball around. But now a year older, more is asked from him.
