We're back in the film room looking at a talented group of freshmen. Each one of these guys has made an impact at the varsity level and are just getting started for their respective teams. Their positions vary as does their projection at the next level. However, all have ability and should make an impact this season and beyond. These guys most certainly have their best football ahead of them.

OL: [player_tooltip player_id='1370669' first='Jayden' last='Thompson'], 6'5" 275, Lovejoy

Thompson is a raw tackle prospect with heavy hands, quick feet, solid bend, and impressive grip strength once he locks onto an opponent. He has the balance & body control to maintain blocks at the second level, he has some nasty in him that's still developing, and has a ton of power in his upper half.

WR: [player_tooltip player_id='1576299' first='Jacob' last='Chevez'], 5'9" 150, Cinco Ranch

A slippery receiver with the shake to make defenders miss 1 on 1. He's got enough speed to run by nosey defenders, he can adjust his body midflight for tough back shoulder throws, and will lean on a defender before bursting out of his cuts to create plenty of separation.

WR: [player_tooltip player_id='1577306' first='Brendyn' last='Jackson'], 6'1" 170, Midlothian

Jackson has the quickness & speed to defeat press coverage, he has the wiggle to generate yards after the catch, and can separate late downfield. He's got outstanding contact balance and won't allow his feet to stop churning, he has the leaping ability to go up & climb the ladder and has great concentration in traffic. Midlothian has lined him up all over the place and he's consistently made plays for them.

DT: Ke'Sean Price, 6'1" 306, Nimitz

A big man that can eat up double teams on the inside while giving up little to no ground. He's got a sturdy anchor, shows the grip strength to quickly disengage from blockers, and has surprising closing speed for a man his size. Price makes easy work of man blocks & sheds them like nothing, he's got a highly effective swipe against an opponent's punch and can make tackles out of awkward body positions.

WR: [player_tooltip player_id='425441' first='Coleman' last='Reaugh'], 6'3" 165, Lovejoy

A long outside receiver that can easily track the deep ball, is sure-handed and is a skilled route runner. He's got good initial burst off the line, knows how to use his frame as a weapon, and has plenty of releases to win off-the-line scrimmage.
