Jayden looked solid during individual drills and handled himself well in a competitive setting. He moved with good effort, stayed active through every rep, and showed he’s willing to compete in the trenches. There were flashes of good balance and control, especially when he stayed square and finished his work through contact. Jayden is an offensive tackle who brings a strong blend of length, athletic movement, and developing physicality to the edge of the offensive line. He has the frame college coaches look for at the tackle position, with good reach and room to continue filling out as he adds strength at the next level. He plays with clear effort and shows a willingness to compete snap after snap.
In pass protection, Jayden shows encouraging movement skills for his size. He gets out of his stance with solid quickness and does a good job working to stay in front of edge rushers. When his technique is right, he can mirror defenders and keep the pocket clean. Continued growth in his hand timing and anchor strength will be key when facing more advanced speed-to-power rushers.
In the run game, he shows flashes of effectiveness as a space blocker, especially when working to the second level. He has the mobility to climb and seal linebackers, creating opportunities in the run scheme. At times, he still needs to be more consistent finishing blocks and maintaining leverage through contact, but the tools are clearly there.
Overall, Jayden projects as a developmental offensive tackle with real upside. Thompson holds offers from Oregon, South Carolina, Arizona , Oklahoma State and more.

Jayden continued to show why his stock is trending up. In a camp setting built around one-on-one battles and technical drills, he displayed improved foot quickness and much stronger hand timing compared to past evaluations. He stayed square in pass protection, showed the ability to recover when initially challenged, and competed through every rep with urgency.
What makes him a rising name is his development. His base is more consistent, his punch is more controlled, and he’s beginning to play with better leverage in space. Without pads to rely on, he proved his technique is catching up with his physical tools. The trajectory is pointing up, and he’s starting to separate himself as a prospect to keep tracking closely.
