Both teams are having great seasons, and Bath County came out with a 62-13 victory. Bath County showed why they are the top team in the Pioneer Region and ranked as the 13th best team in Class 1 by <a href="https://www.maxpreps.com/va/football/24-25/division/division-1a/rankings/1/?schoolid=e3432dca-9de2-4314-98ea-d8750cbe65eb&amp;statedivisionid=5076bbe2-0d47-48f9-bc62-7bbb31e3c967" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Max Preps</a>. Bath County improved to 6-0 on the season and will host the 5-3 Parry McCluer Fighting Blues next Friday. If you have been following Carl and I at Prep Redzone Virginia, Craig County has been on our radar this season. They are having their best season in recent years and currently sit at 5-3 on the season. Expulsive with quick feet and speed, Wyatt's ability to run the ball ultimately proved difficult for Craig County's defense to keep up with. He may be one of the best kept secrets and deserves a look as a RB at the next level or QB in an option offense. Also plays DB and was making consistent tackles and pass deflections. He was unblockable all night, continually getting penetration in Craig County's backfield. He also had a long TD reception on offense. A tough runner showing good burst throughout the game. He displayed the speed needed to breakaway in the open field from Craig County's defense. He took a short pass to the left and scurried his way around the field to eventually find the end zone. He ended the day with 2 receiving TDs on the day. It was a shorter kick off, and he was able to find a crease and then showed very good burst and acceleration, and no one was able to catch him. Shows strength at the point of attack and the ability to use his hands to create separation. He has the strength to rip away from offensive linemen and make a tackle on the ball carrier. He is an impact player that must be accounted for on every play from his Middle Backer Position, and teams are better off running away from him. I recently featured him in one of my Mid-Season Highlight <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2024/10/mid-season-standout-players-you-need-to-know/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">articles</a> and he has also made his mark from the Running Back position with his <a href="https://x.com/noah_paxton3/status/1830670009561161817" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">physical running style</a>.
