Starting us off first is [player_tooltip player_id='1511384' first='John' last='Short'] of Leavenworth. The 6-foot-5, 280-pound tackle is a rising prospect that's performed well through the Pioneers' first five games. He made his debut as the 51st ranked offensive lineman in the class and the 409th ranked prospect overall. Short's play this season has drawn interest from D-II programs, and he holds multiple NAIA offers. Look for him to be selected to an All-UKC team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1466191' first='Adam' last='Wang'] made his debut behind Davis as the 54th ranked defensive back in the class and the 554th ranked prospect overall.

The second Blue Valley North newcomer from this update is [player_tooltip player_id='1513280' first='Frankie' last='Tryban']. Despite the Mustangs getting off to a slow start this season, Tryban has been a nice surprise for them. Tryban is on pace for a 1,000-yard season after reaching 595 yards this past week. The senior debuted as the 73rd ranked back in the class and the 552nd ranked prospect overall.

With how well Blue Valley's defense has played this season, offensive prospects like [player_tooltip player_id='1466178' first='Charlie' last='Stachowiak'] have flown under the radar. Stachowiak entered the rankings after being the Tigers' top playmaker on offense through five games. He's averaging over five yards per carry and has over 450 yards rushing.

[player_tooltip player_id='1453228' first='Carter' last='Cox'] was the lone quarterback from the metro to crack the rankings in this update. His outing in Week 2 has still been one of the top performances from a quarterback this season. The 6-foot-3 signal caller checked in at No. 574 overall and is the 55th ranked player at his position.

Chase is another Game Ball recipient that found his way into the rankings, as he debuted at No. 562 overall. Although Chase and the Thunder have cooled off in recent weeks, he's still been one of the top wideouts in Class 4A this season.
