It's been a week, but the coverage for the recent Class of ‘27 rankings update continues on. I briefly mentioned in my ‘Stock Riser' report last week about the more than 25 players that debuted in the March update. That's where I'll pick back up in this report.

Some of the recent additions were revealed prior to the release of the rankings. However, there's some more players that need their introduction to the Prep Redzone Kansas community. This group of five all cracked the Top 200, with a couple even landing inside the Top 100. These prospects are also some players folks will want to remember this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='2161155' first='Khaliel' last='Walker'] - Junction City, 5'10”, 195, LB

At No. 51 overall is Walker of Junction City. This young man is an absolute beast at outside linebacker. In 2025 he recorded 83 total tackles, 12 TFL's, six forced fumbles, three sacks, and one interception. He's a difference maker for the Bluejays' defense, and should be an All-State candidate once again as a senior. For now he is the 7th ranked backer in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2161163' first='Michael' last='Castillo'] - Derby, 6'0”, 185, WR

With his debut, [player_tooltip player_id='2161163' first='Michael' last='Castillo'] of Derby is now the 12th wideout ranked inside the Top 100. Castillo joined this group of talented WR's at No. 98 overall. He's a well balanced receiver. Solid route runner, good hands, playmaker in the open field, and he possesses the speed to burn secondaries. He'll likely have an expanded role next season for Derby.

[player_tooltip player_id='2161147' first='Jonah' last='Mull'] - Bishop Carroll, 6'3”, 190, QB

I'm calling it now, Mull of Bishop Carroll will be one of the biggest bounce back stories during the ‘26 campaign. The 6-foot-3 quarterback unfortunately had his junior season cut short due to injury. However, he made a good enough impression to earn a spot in the rankings. Mull made his debut at No. 115 overall and is the 12th ranked QB in the class. He has the potential to be one of the top dual-threat QB's in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='2161165' first='Trent' last='Schneider'] - Blue Valley West, 5'10”, 155, WR

Up next is Schneider of Blue Valley West. The BVW product landed inside the Top 150 at No. 145 overall and is the 21st ranked player at his position. He put together an All-League Honorable Mention junior campaign last fall. Schneider finished the ‘25 campaign with 37 receptions for 477 yards and five scores. He'll have a shot at emerging as the Jaguars' top target next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2161150' first='Preston' last='White'] - Eudora, 6'1”, 170, WR

The amount of offensive firepower the Eudora Cardinals possess has caused [player_tooltip player_id='2161150' first='Preston' last='White'] to be overlooked a bit. He was Eudora's go-to target down the field in 2025, as he averaged over 18 yards per catch. His explosiveness was also utilized in the ground game. White possesses the speed to turn a jet-sweep into a 20-plus yard run. White debuted at No. 153 overall.
