He has a good arm downfield, can throw both outbreaking and in-breaking routes while showing good anticipation and throwing his receivers open downfield while able to move through his reads quickly and keep his eyes downfield. In week 8 against a always tough Clovis West squad, he passed for four touchdowns and was firing on all cylinders downfield. He has already racked up almost 20 offers and seems to be a heavy Oregon lean at this point in the process. The national recruit has been manning the backfield and linebacker core for Clovis North, he has had a tremendous start to his Senior year and had a big showing Friday night where he rushed for 3 scores and had 2 INT's and a fumble recovery against Buchanan, a game Clovis North won 51-14. Once committed to Fresno State, Gomez stepped away from that commitment in April and has since gathered offers from SJSU, NAU and Montana State. Still uncommitted, the Hanford star is a name to watch as the season comes to a close and national signing day rolls around. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In week 8 of the central valley season, Gomez had a stellar performance where he threw for 328 yards through the air and five touchdowns, in a big time 42-7 win over Tulare Western. He is comfortable playing both wide receiver and defensive back, and is a very fluid athlete with outstanding natural instincts and initial explosion with the ball in his hands. Only in his sophomore season, he has plenty of growth potential at the next level and will only continue to pack on more weight to his frame as he continues on through his prep career and should draw college interest this off-season. He has delivered the ball into tight windows with good spin and zip on the ball, while also showing he can throw under pressure and has strong pocket awareness for someone his age and is always dangerous when he tucks it and runs in the open field. He will be one of the top rising Senior passers returning for the 2025 season, and is a name to note this off-season on the camp and 7on7 circuit. In week 8, Williams had a big night throwing for four scores in a close 3 point victory over Reedley and will look to build off that performance in week 9 against a tough central valley christian squad. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
