[player_tooltip player_id='1036638' first='Tristan' last='Williams'] has been a massive piece of Central's offensive production this year, he has played terrific so far in his senior season and shows no signs of slowing down. This past week against Enterprise, Williams put up one of his best performances of the season and his career- he had a huge day on the ground and was a big reason why Central won 31-21. Williams has great size, speed, and acceleration- he can outrun and evade any defender on the field. When you pair those skills with his terrific vision and instincts it allows Williams to be a big play threat every time he takes the field. All of this was easy to see against Enterprise- Williams ended the game with only 21 carries for a ridiculous 224 yards and 3 touchdowns. It's been super exciting watching Williams this season, he's a talented prospect who is making a name for himself in his senior season. Be sure to watch out for him down the stretch- something tells me many more of these sorts of performances are on the way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1506551' first='Marty' last='Myricks'] is a talented senior running back out of Oak Mountain that has been terrific for his offense's run game this season. This past week, Myricks came up huge for his team in an offensive shootout against Tuscaloosa County, where Oak Mountain won 49-35. Myricks is an electric back who plays with a lot of speed, twitch, and toughness out of the backfield. He has terrific speed, easily makes defenders miss, and has great contact balance that allows him to take on hits when he's toting the rock. Myricks used all of these skills last week against Tuscaloosa County- he ended his night with 19 carries for 267 yards and 5 touchdowns, dominating the ground game all night long. Be sure to watch Myricks going forward- he's played really well this season and is sure to make more plays for Oak Mountain down the stretch!

[player_tooltip player_id='1006484' first='Cameron' last='Phinizee'] has been unbelievable throughout his short career at Russellville and this season has been no different. Phinizee has been outstanding this season and is coming off another terrific performance this past week against Ardmore- he paved the way all game long and was one of the main reasons why Russellville won 38-7. Phinizee has a rare combination of size, speed, vision, and elusiveness that have made him an extremely valuable ball carrier for Russellville's rushing attack. He has a great burst of speed and acceleration while also maintaining a high level of physicality in his play- he can run over nearly anyone in the open field and consistently requires multiple defenders to take him down. It was easy to see these skills show up last week- Phinizee dominated Ardmore, recording 29 carries for an unbelievable 341 yards and 2 touchdowns. It's been awesome watching Phinizee continue to dominate defenses in his junior season, be sure to watch him the rest of this year, he's definitely going to keep making plays!

[player_tooltip player_id='1506566' first='Xavier' last='Edwards'] is a talented senior running back out of Athens that has been highly productive so far this season. Last week against Jasper, Edwards had a terrific performance on the ground and was a huge piece of his team's offensive production. At 5'9 185, Edwards is a shifty back with a ton of explosiveness who does a great job maximizing every carry. Every time Edwards has the ball in his hands you can expect him to grind out yards and get into the endzone, he's a physical runner who plays with a ton of speed, toughness, and elusiveness he uses to consistently outmatch defenders. Against Jasper, Edwards was near unstoppable running the ball- he racked up 15 carries for 167 yards and 2 touchdowns in a dominant 50-20 win. Be sure to tune in and watch Athens the rest of this season, as a junior Edwards looks like one of the top backs in his class and is bound to keep making big plays!
