Week 0 Game Balls

<p>Well it has been an interesting Week 0 in Northern Virginia High School Football. Mother Nature re-arranged teams plans but nonetheless it was a week of entertaining football. Week 0 Game Balls Part One below:</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1231573' first='Tyler' last='Orth'] did everything for the South County Stallions in their 22-8 victory over the Robinson Rams. He caught 1 40 yard bomb for a score and threw for two touchdowns also showing his range. You read that right he accounted for all three of South County's touchdown, the all state candidate has picked up from where he left off.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/TOrth25/status/1829993744155705656 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">ODU commit [player_tooltip player_id='1228846' first='Hunter' last='Malecki'] was doing his usual Friday afternoon in Fairfax. Defensively the Stallions didn't let the home squad Rams come up for air much and Malecki was a big reason why. Accounting for 15 total tackles, 1 sacks, 3 tfls and 2 pass break ups, yeah Malecki is as good as it gets.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/hunter_malecki/status/1829928769349353865 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Going to be a fun one next week when Gainesville travels to Woodbridge to face Gar-field. Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1155979' first='Colton' last='Kilmer'] was lights out in the Cardinals dominant win over Potomac. Playing only three quarters, Kilmer had four passing touchdowns and was nearly flawless going 12-16 in his passing attempts. Next week against a rejuvenated Red Wolves squad is going to fun to watch Kilmer and the Cardinals high powered offense.</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/KilmerColton/status/1830306470694645968 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Very happy to see Coach Woods and the Virginia Academy Patriots get their first win of they year over Life Christian Academy. Domingo Meade had himself a night on both sides of the ball. He had an 70 yard interception return and 45 yard touchdown pass, back healthy he looks like a division 1 football player.</p>   <p><a href="Domingo Meade HUDL ">Domingo Meade HUDL </a></p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='853095' first='Troy' last='Hamlin'] firmly has control of the quarterback duties for Coach Edmunds and he was outstanding in their victory over Unity Reed. Throwing for four touchdowns Hamlin looks lightyears ahead of where he was a year ago, look out for the Red Wolves. He threw some dimes against a good Lions defense and was very accurate facing a heavy rush. New starting quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='372517' first='Isaiah' last='French'] wasted little time making his presence known as he threw for 310 yards and 4 touchdowns. French is one of top remaining uncommitted prospects with offers ranging from Kent State, Marshall and UMASS. Quarterback and underratted 2025 prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1231526' first='Johnny' last='Callow'] was lights out throwing for three touchdowns in the first half. Accounting for 3 tackles for losses, 1 sack and at least 8 quarterback pressures Pane was playing on a high motor all night. Lake Braddock was good in all three phases and [player_tooltip player_id='1231611' first='Trent' last='Pane'] was the best player on the field. The reigning all-state defensive lineman is very difficult to block one on one, good luck to anyone trying to double team him too. </p>   <p>http://www.hudl.com/v/2PzFDf</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">One of the bigger shockers in Week 0 was the Osbourn Eagle knocking off the South Lakes Seahawks in convincing fashion. The Eagles look rejuvenated and explosive when I saw them this summer and they had playmakers like [player_tooltip player_id='1231609' first='Kha'moni' last='Morris'] making outstanding plays. Morris had two long touchdown receptions where he showed off his 4.6 40 speed when he was streaking down the sideline.
