The film room is active right now as we have made halfway through the season, meaning we have tons of tape to sift through! This two-way product has taken ownership with this year's squad by becoming the team's go-to guy on offense, showing why he can be an eventual college running back. Going into the 2024 football year, myself and collegiate coaches were looking at Davis as a possible defensive back but so far in the season, the Blue Raiders senior has shown outstanding work at running back, which shows potential for that position moving forward.

The immediate trait that will allow Davis to stay on offense is his speed and ability to quickly get into the open field. This dude can run! Davis has track speed and shows on film. Once the ball touches his hands, Davis shows great initial burst through the hole then his speed takes over as he consistently out runs his opponents. The Blue Raiders ball carrier is also stronger than you think. He shows good contact balance with his added weight while leaning forward when running. He is also a good receiver out of the backfield that should develop further in this area once he reaches his college ball. Davis will officially move off our “Ath” placement and into the running back rankings during our next update due to his breakout senior season that has multiple D1 schools beginning to show interest.

- - -

The new age of college football recruiting I believe has hurt guys like Ross because this East Tennessee product is legit and talented enough to compete on FCS or D1 level. His senior film is showing that upside as Ross has been near unguardable so far this year and that's due to his athletic skill set at 6'3 220 plus pounds. The Red Devils senior is a mismatch problem when he lines up in the slot. Defensive backs and smaller linebackers have a hard time keeping up with Ross due to his athleticism and speed but also because of his route knowledge and knack for getting open. Ross has shown improved blocking on the line this season as well but his money is made flexed out and working the middle or deep parts of the field.

There are still areas of development needed for Ross, like adding in more weight while continuing to increase his speed but this dude can play. He provides a lot of pass catching versatility to the offensive side of the ball that can be utilized very well on the collegiate level. It will be interesting to see how Ross continues to perform throughout the rest of the season. His Red Devils team is in for postseason play with a chance to go deep in the playoffs and if they do, Ross will be a big reason why. His continued strong play should increase his recruiting attention as well because I feel this East TN product is too good to be looked past much longer.

- - -

Going into the 2024 season, many people didn't know too much about this Nashville area prospect but after five games, Bailey has made his presence known in a big way where Power Four football programs are showing interest. A big reason for the college interest is the natural athleticism that comes from Bailey and his long term upside on the next level. Through the first five games, the Knights senior offensive weapon has been near unstoppable, putting up silly production while establishing himself as the team's go-to guy. Bailey is mainly handling running back duties for his Knights team and he's doing a good job but will that be his position once he reaches the college game?

This is an ultra athletic guy with a well built physique that can run! Bailey is a speedster that could develop at running back, receiver, linebacker or safety in college. He's just handling the role asked of him this year and Bailey's excelling at a high level. Coaches have taken notice of this guy and are paying attention as this season rolls along. The kind of numbers that Bailey is putting up right now might put him in consideration for Mr. Football by season's end but his team must put a few more wins on the board for that to happen. Regardless, Bailey has taken advantage of his senior year as he is definitely a rankings riser that will continue to see his stock rise over the coming months, where I believe this guy will sign with a FCS or D1 program.

- - - - -

Standing 6'6 250 plus pounds, Bell looks the part of a college guy and so far this senior season, the Spartans D-lineman is playing like one while boosting his overall stock. When you have the kind of look and size that Bell does, you need to play up to the potential and I think he is beginning to see the light. His film shows improvement from his hand work to his burst off the snap along with increased agility within his lower base that is allowing him to be active in the opponent's backfield. Offensive linemen have had difficult times handling Bell due to his height, length and speed off the ball.

New offers have already started to arrive but if the Spartans senior D-lineman can continue to string together top level performances, bigger programs may begin to get involved. The biggest thing holding Bell back from bigger interest is his body weight but the frame is definitely there to eventually pack on the weight. I think so far through the 2024 season, Bell has done well for himself even though his team is struggling. The Spartans big man should continue to focus on his development because his film shows that he is on the cusp of breaking out in a big way with the potential of landing on the D1 level.

- - - - -

Ever since the off-season started last December, Anderson has been a man on a mission to develop himself and push his game further and by the looks of his senior film, he's definitely taken himself to another level. One of the better technique sound defensive backs from our #TN2025 class, Anderson is a worker that got bigger in the off-season and it's paying off. He not only hit the weight room but the Blaze defender increased his skill set too by developing his lower base quickness along with his play recognition. His senior clips show a guy that reads the play well then moves to the ball quickly to tackle through his opponent.

The opposition hasn't thrown his way too much this year but Anderson has taken advantage of every opportunity provided to him to make plays and stand out. The biggest thing I'm liking from this Murfreesboro area product right now is his willingness to tackle in run support. Anderson does a lot of work locking down his man in coverage but when he is called to tackle, he is doing his job well as he has produced three tackles for loss thus far. At this current time, Anderson is committed to Davidson and it may stay that way but don't be surprised to see other schools get involved soon because his senior film is that good!

https://twitter.com/Jalen_A25/status/1839358317745037809
