[player_tooltip player_id='1188836' first='Bryson' last='Kimbrough'] is a really talented senior quarterback out of Hillcrest that has been fantastic for his team this season. This past week, Kimbrough came up huge in Hillcrest's 48-14 win over Hueytown by making plays both through the air and on his feet. Kimbrough is a talented passer- he has the arm strength to launch the ball downfield while also having the accuracy and ball placement to lead and deliver his receivers some impressive passes. Kimbrough also has some solid athleticism he uses to absorb hits, maneuver around the pocket, and extend plays all around the field. All of these skills were on full display this past week against Hueytown, where Kimbrough made plays in every way possible. Kimbrough was an efficient leader of his team's offense and ended the game with 7-11 passing attempts for 131 yards and two touchdowns, 14 carries on the ground for 101 yards and a touchdown, AND a 34-yard receiving touchdown through the air to cap off the night. Be sure to keep watching Kimbrough down the stretch of the season, he's a heck of a player who has helped turn Hillcrest's offense into one of the top offenses in the state this year!

[player_tooltip player_id='1301122' first='Bryson' last='Riggins'] is a highly skilled passer out of Russell County who has brought a ton of talent to his team's passing attack over the last few seasons. Riggins had one of the best games of his career this past week against Valley in his team's 45-27 win. Riggins is a highly accurate and intelligent quarterback who can efficiently deliver the ball all around the field- he throws the ball with a ton of accuracy, has terrific ball placement, and has the arm strength to stretch the ball downfield as well. It's really impressive watching how quickly Riggins reads and processes defenses- he's a quick decision-maker who takes what defenses give him and rarely puts the ball at risk. All of these traits showed up this past week against Valley- Riggins had a day passing the ball and recorded 18-24 passing attempts for 326 yards and 6 touchdowns. It's been super fun watching Riggins and this Russell County offense this season, he's played really well and developed some great chemistry with his targets. Be sure to watch Riggins play out the rest of this season, he's one of the top quarterbacks in the state's 2026 class for a reason!

[player_tooltip player_id='1513716' first='Kai' last='Franklin'] is a talented junior quarterback out of Gadsden City that has been really productive over the start of the season. Franklin was a huge reason why Gadsden City won 40-27 over Bob Jones last week- he made a ton of plays on the ground and through the air that helped put points up on the board. Franklin's athleticism separates him greatly from other quarterbacks- he has great speed, vision, and instincts that help him make huge plays out of nothing. It was easy to see this big play ability against Bob Jones when Franklin focused and recovered a high snap right before breaking off a 45-yard touchdown run. There were plenty of plays like this and more for Franklin last week- he ended the game completing 16 of 25 passing attempts for 175 passing yards and two touchdowns, with an additional 9 carries on the ground for 93 yards and another touchdown. Overall, Franklin put together a great performance where he utilized his athleticism and arm talent to make a bunch of key plays for Gadsden City's offense. Be sure to keep watching Franklin this year, he's an exciting prospect that has played really well this season!

[player_tooltip player_id='1513724' first='Amari' last='Griffin'] is a senior quarterback out of Chilton County that has been a really efficient leader of his team's offense this season. Griffin is a really smart playmaker at QB who rarely puts the ball at risk- he was great at distributing the ball to his targets in Chilton County's 39-7 win over Brookwood this past week. Griffin does a great job reading and reacting quickly to defenses- he has a good understanding of where and who he needs to deliver the ball to and does so in an efficient way. Griffin makes sure to spread the ball evenly around the field to his targets and is an unpredictable passer that keeps defenses on their toes. It was easy to see this last week against Brookwood- Griffin ended the game with 13-14 pass completions for 172 yards and one touchdown. Be sure to keep watching Griffin play out this year- he's had a couple of nice performances in his senior season and is bound to keep making plays down the stretch!
