Bryson Kimbrough Bryson Kimbrough 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Hillcrest | 2025 State AL is still looking to breakthrough on the recruiting trail, but he has seen his stock steadily climb this offseason and is in position for a big fall. Kimbrough is a dual-threat QB at 6’1 190 and still has more room to grow. He isn’t a super twitchy runner, but once he gets going downfield, his long strides build up acceleration and allow him to distance himself from defenders. He has a certain type of calmness and poise in the pocket that is satisfying to watch. He calmy handles himself in the gun and when dropping back from under center. His eyes and feet remain in sync and he does a good job of throwing with both his cleats in the ground. He is a linear thrower, finishing out over his front foot and generating some drive on the ball from the rotation in his hips. His high release point allows him to float the ball under safeties and over LBs, dropping the ball into some of the in-between areas. When he needs to reach back and hurl one downfield, he has the arm strength to get it there. Kimbrough’s best football days may still be ahead of him, now somebody just needs to bank on his upside.

Bryson Kimbrough is a really talented quarterback prospect out of Hillcrest that has a lot of abilities as a dual threat playmaker.  Kimbrough has a really talented arm that’s capable of both airing it out downfield and fitting passes into really tight, contested windows.  It doesn’t matter what level of the field his targets are at, Kimbrough uses his arm to stretch the field and make big time passes. He has a ton of accuracy he uses to lead his receivers really well and rarely throws the ball into harms way. Outside of his passing abilities though,  Kimbrough also has some really solid athleticism that allows him to move around the pocket really well as well as make plays on the run. Kimbrough recently picked up an offer from Coahoma Community College, with the kind of talent he has he will definitely be seeing some more head his way over the next year! Keep an eye on him and Hillcrest going forward, they have a lot of talent on this roster this season!

Kimbrough has a really precis arm that’s capable of making a lot of tough throws both inside and outside the pocket. He has a strong enough arm to stretch the field and can lead his receivers really well no matter what part of the field they are at. Kimbrough also has some really solid athleticism that allows him to maneuver around the field on his feet well and helps him absorb hits when passing. Kimbrough just picked up an offer from Coahoma Community College, with the kind of talent he has he will definitely be seeing some more head his way.  Keep an eye on him this season- he’s set up for a big year in their offense.
