Ramsey had one of the top performances of any player across the state of Idaho on Friday night. He was able to air it out to multiple receivers downfield and showed his big-time arm and precision passing abilities over the top. The Eagle standout threw for for over 150 yards and a staggering 4 scores, in Eagle's big time win over Mountain View 52-14. Eagle is 4-1 on the year after suffering a tough loss to the number one team in Oregon in West Linn, and will look ahead to this week's matchup against a 3-2 Owyhee squad.

Brant has been one of the better passers across the region through the off-season, coming off a tremendous Sophomore season campaign. He is a natural passer with a big time arm downfield, and is a high IQ kid that is a no brainer next level signal caller. The number one quarterback in our 2026 rankings had a solid showing this week, throwing for over 130 yards and a touchdown, while tacking on a good chunk of rushing yards on the ground as well. Timberline is 4-1 on the season and will look to gear up in a big showdown Friday night against Middleton.

Carson had arguably one of the best off-seasons of any prospect across Idaho it is off to a strong start in his Junior campaign. He is one of the top running backs regardless of class across in the state and is a powerful and violent runner that can gain tough yards inside while also having good open field speed and lateral agility, especially for his size.

The Rocky Mountain backfield is in good hands with Reese and Kafari leading the charge and both rushers went over the 100 yard marker on Friday night. Reese has been one of the top rushers across the state for the past couple of seasons and is off to a strong start in his final debut. On Friday night, the senior back rushed for just under 100 yards on the ground and 2 scores, bringing Rocky's record to 5-0 and checking in as the number one team in the state per the MaxPreps rankings.

Kafari made the transfer over to Rocky Mountain from Centennial this off-season, and is off to a terrific start to his final season at the prep level. He is a powerful and violent downhill runner that moves extremely well for his size, can bounce off tacklers and shows good pad level, natural forward lean and leg drive through contact with sneaky third level speed. On Friday night he rushed for just over 100 yards on the ground and 2 scores, and is one of the tougher guys to bring down across the region.

Vidlak is operating this explosive and very good Fruitland team and had perhaps the best offensive performance of any prospect in week 5. He has shown he is one of the best 2027 players across the state of Idaho this season, and is a no brainer to enter into our ranks in the next update.

Krahn is one of the more dominant players across the state of Idaho from his running back and linebacker position and is currently committed to the hometown Vandals where he projects as a mike backer and is one of the top recruits across the state. He is a do it all two-way star for Skyview, and had another huge performance in week 5 of the prep season. The number two linebacker in our rankings erupted for 140 rushing yards and 2 scores, in a tight 3 point loss to Nampa. Skyview will move to 0-5 on the season, and has another juggernaut opponent on deck in Bishop Kelly in week 6.

Avella has been one of the more efficient passers across Idaho through the first half of the season and is one of the top Junior signal callers in the state, checking into our rankings as a top-five prospect. He had another solid showing this week throwing for over 200 yards yet again and 4 touchdowns against Columbia in a 54-0 route. Bishop Kelly shows no signs of slowing down after coming off a state title a year ago, and seems to have their quarterback of the future in Avella.
