Each week, we highlight the prospects that are making recruiting headlines. He does an impressive job working at the cornerback position. He has the speed to create a difficult matchup for opposing wide receivers. McFadden uses his hands well to shift wide receivers from routes. Earlier in the week, he earned a scholarship offer from Bethel College. McFadden is a player to watch out for the rest of the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1303950' first='Carson' last='Brister']-Wide Receiver-North Little Rock-6'1” 171-Pounds-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The North Little Rock wide receiver has knack for creating separation from opposing defensive back. Brister uses his route running to make himself available for his quarterback to fit the ball into him. Over the weekend, Brister earned an invitation to the National Combine in San Antonio. He is a player with a bright future and one to watch out for over the next few months.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1152116' first='Owen' last='McLaughlin']-Running Back-Southsdie-5'8” 180-Pounds-2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over the past year, [player_tooltip player_id='1152116' first='Owen' last='McLaughlin'] has been a player that has had no problem opening eyes. He has tremendous speed and will make opposing defenders miss tackles with ease. McLaughlin has the versatility to be used in the passing game efficiently. He will not go down on initial contact. Meanwhile, he presents a steady target for his quarterback in the passing game. McLaughlin had the opportunity to take a visit to Arkansas Tech over the weekend. I expect him to have a strong conference portion of the season. He does an excellent job of defeating blocks. Wendel puts himself in a position to impact the play and bring down the ball carrier. He can rush the passer to disrupt the passing game or key on the run to shut down the rushing attack. Valley View always seems to produce talented prospects and Wendel is a player to watch out for this season. Wendel spent the weekend visiting Ouachita Baptist University.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1219604' first='Bronson' last='Coolis']-Tight End-Benton-6'2” 245-Pounds-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1219604' first='Bronson' last='Coolis'] plays with impressive intensity at several positions on the offensive side of the ball for Benton. He is a powerful blocker that will clear rushing lanes for his running backs with ease. Meanwhile, he has the hands to catch passes on pass routes and is a talented receiver in the passing game. Coolis plays with a chip on his shoulder and will punish opposing defenders that attempt to bring him down. He had the opportunity to visit Central Arkansas over the weekend. He is a player that should close out his senior season in strong fashion.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
