Earning MVP for his performance was [player_tooltip player_id='219439' first='Eric' last='Hazzard'], a defensive lineman at Page High School. Hazzard was a monster on both sides of the ball, establishing his presence all throughout the contest. Hazzard made a huge defensive play in the first quarter, hauling in a pick-six. Hazzard also came down with an impressive hail mary pass in the endzone to close out the first half.

I was additionally impressed with [player_tooltip player_id='250830' first='Jayden' last='Carter'], a linebacker at Coffee County Central High School. Carter caught my attention with his ability to read the offense like a book and quickly overwhelm the opposition in the pocket. Carter made several impressive tackles against a very good Patriots offense.

Catching my attention down the stretch was [player_tooltip player_id='408917' first='Maclean' last='Copeland'], a wide receiver at Page High School. In addition to excellent breakaway speed and catching ability, Copeland impressed me with his ability to get wide open for the deep pass from along the edge. I also liked Copeland's physical playstyle, showcasing his ability to bully the defense with his arms and push off the opposition to haul in the pass.

Making a huge difference offensively was [player_tooltip player_id='853120' first='Cayden' last='Aukerman'], a wide receiver at Page High School. In addition to excellent height and a solid wingspan, Aukerman caught my eye with his breakaway speed. Aukerman hauled in an impressive touchdown pass late in the second quarter, showing off his strong catching ability as well as his ability to break free from the defense down the stretch.

Another offensive playmaker was Mitchell Grandjean, a quarterback at Page High School. Grandjean was highly explosive at the helm of the Patriots' offense, showcasing his ability to be an unpredictable playcaller. Grandjean proved he could run the ball into enemy territory himself, breaking several tackles from along the edge. I also liked Grandjean's arm strength and ability to be accurate on the deep pass, even under heavy defensive pressure.

Also worth mentioning is Colt Brown, an athlete at Page High School. Brown made his presence known in the Patriots' first drive of the game, showcasing his excellent durability on the ground as he punched into the endzone for the first touchdown of the contest. What makes Brown so dangerous offensively is his size, speed and ability to fight for extra steps in the pocket.

Game Recap

Page was unstoppable from start to finish as the Patriots' offense quickly punched into the endzone thanks to Colt Brown, who would stay on his feet to put the first points on the scoreboard. The Patriots were back in the endzone without long as [player_tooltip player_id='219439' first='Eric' last='Hazzard'] hauled in an amazing pick-six. Page led Coffee County Central 14-0 with 5:12 remaining in the first quarter. Mitchell Grandjean had an opportunity to show off his strong passing in the first half, connecting with [player_tooltip player_id='853120' first='Cayden' last='Aukerman'] on an impressive touchdown pass. With under a minute remaining in the first half, Page decided to throw a hail mary pass and Hazzard would be right there waiting for it. The Patriots led the Red Raiders 28-0 at the half. At the beginning of the second half, the Patriots continued to overwhelm Coffee County Central, blasting into the endzone on their first drive of the third quarter to go up 35-0 over the Red Raiders. The Patriots would throw one more touchdown pass to extend their lead as Page recorded their fifth-straight shutout in a 42-0 victory over Coffee County Central.
