Jarlon had a nice game after rushing for over 280 yards last week against AL Brown. I really like Jarlon's patience in setting up his blocks, and his ability to read and cut off of those blocks is impressive. Jarlon had a big run to set up his own 1-yard game-winning touchdown in the 4th quarter. On that big run, Jarlon showed patience, and then once the hole opened up, he burst into space with great speed, breaking a tackle before getting run down at the five-yard line.

The Trojans ran behind the big right tackle all night long when they needed yards on the ground in a critical situation - on the drive where the Trojans took the lead, everything came off of the right side where Nolan was impressive coming off of the football. The Elon commit is having a strong season as the running game is carrying the Trojans at the moment to a 2-1 overall record.

The speedy Class of 2026 prospect was the main target when the Trojans wanted to put the ball in the air. They made it a point to feature Jason, as the first play of the game was a bubble screen to him in space for a nice gain. Outside of his speed, Jason was the Trojans' main kick and punt returner and did a nice job in those roles as well. Jason showed good hands and some wiggle in the open field.

The talented 2027 prospect didn't have a huge night throwing the football, but he was efficient in taking what the defense was allowing, which was a lot of underneath throws and short routes. On those throws in particular, I felt like Hudson got the ball out on time and was accurate with those passes. When Hudson has time and the opportunity, I am confident he will be able to make those mid-range and downfield throws.

Ethan was literally Mr. Everything for the Tigers, playing as one of their kick returners, free safety, running back, wide receiver, and Wildcat formation quarterback. Ethan showed some good speed and ball skills when playing wide receiver, as he made multiple big catches in long-yardage situations for the Tigers. Ethan showed good speed and strength as a running back and Wildcat quarterback for the Tigers as well.

Colin was impressive to me in this game, but not for the reasons you may think when discussing a quarterback. The Tigers' offense is a modified Wing-T from the shotgun, and that requires the ability to carry out a number of fakes and handoffs on every play. Colin did this very well, and as a result of a heavy run game in the first half, it opened up the play-action passing game in the 2nd half where the Tigers hit some big plays to get on the scoreboard. Colin's accuracy on those throws was excellent as well. He played a very good game overall.

The big senior offensive lineman was a focal point when the Tigers needed to get some yardage in short to-go situations. Eli is definitely a powerful run blocker first and foremost, and he did a good job with this all night long for the Tigers. Per his Twitter profile, Eli squats 605 pounds and benches 330 pounds. That's a young man made for the trenches!
