NORTH DAKOTA-- We finish off our 2026 stockrisers in North Dakota with the best of the best that the state has to offer telling you the why behind each of the five prospects that either moved into our top 10 in North Dakota or moved some spots up. I always say, the value of moving up the rankings within our top 10 is difficult as its much easier to move down than up, that's why moving up one or two spots has a higher value when you are this high up in our rankings across the board. Each of these five prospects too, I have put an FCS or higher grade on, so these are targets you want to know now sooner than later.

Our DB2 in the North Dakota 2026 class, has been taken over by [player_tooltip player_id='929957' first='Xander' last='Hanson'] of Bismarck Century. The 6'0 170 pound showed off an impressive outing at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine last Spring and thus far this season has continued his upward trend popping into our top 10 overall. His sound ability to move laterally with his footwork sets off on tape a persistence of physicality as a ball-tracker and he has the proactive change of direction to close ahead of the pass-catcher on a consistent basis. When it comes to pass coverage, Xander is typically attached to the wide receiver like a hawk and his versatility with his position angle is typically centered within inches of the ball carrier. Xander is a cornerback prospect that I could certainly see an FCS target for in the future. Twitter

It is clear as day that Easton has worked efficiently on his release during the off-season as he shows to be quicker off the snap than in 2023. He also has grown an additional inch and added 15 pounds of frame since our last update now playing at 6'3 180 pounds. His open field vision is another skillset I have seen the growth from last season for Easton, as he constantly over his first four weeks has created every splash play with that skillset. This kid has no give up on his routes either, as if the first look isn't there he shows off versatility with a second look quarterbacks will want to grasp for at the next-level. Our new WR1 in North Dakota's 2026 class is one that I still certainly see plenty of upside brewing as the growth of his frame will certainly appease some suitors at the next-level. Twitter

Yusuf was another one that was a Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine standout this time in Jamestown last winter as you could back then see the upside that was about to pop off as Yusuf enters our top five overall in North Dakota. The amount of big runs that Yusuf has gotten already this year for the Sabers probably surprises some, but not me as we saw it coming on tape as he has such nice balanced vision, agility, and a very quick sudden burst once he finds the open field especially into the second level. Yusuf was one of our first finds before we even built this 2026 class at the NDSU prospect camp a couple years back, which I will say is one of the hardest camps to standout at in the Midwest and even the country so the rise of this kid I will say, I saw it coming. Bright next-level future for this young man. Plus, you can never go wrong with a running back with an excellent track background and a 37 inch vertical. Twitter

The trend you are noticing with the last two out of three prospects in our top 10, is that they all have attended and dominated at a Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine, which of course we do not factor into who attends our combines with any of our rankings, but that should be a great indicator to come see us this winter. [player_tooltip player_id='1113072' first='Cash' last='Danner'] was one of those 2026 prospects that attended our Jamestown combine as although he flashed as a 1st Team tight end from that camp, it was clearly obvious that Cash had a ton of position flexibility and has found his niche position in my eyes as safety. The 6'4 205 pounder from Thompson. Cash has an excellent football IQ and its hard to find another defensive back in the Dakotas all together that has his range with his excellent measureables. Cash is also in my eyes one of the best defensive backs in the Dakotas when it comes to his positioning and just about every time Cash is in a prime positon to go make a play on the ball with his balance in pass/run coverage. I can already predict, it's going to be a huge summer for this young man on the recruiting trail. Twitter

We save the best for last, meeting our new #1 overall prospect amongst North Dakota 2026 class in Central Cass offensive linemen [player_tooltip player_id='1112591' first='Aiden' last='Wunderlich'], who yet again is another Prep Redzone Dakotas Combine alum from Jamestown. Aiden certainly won't be the last 2026 prospect with Division I offers, but the Fighting Hawks notoriously are usually one of the earliest offers to several prospects that are now P4 commits so I certainly have some great trust in their eval on Aiden. The 6'6 270 pounder, also crushed it at every camp I watched this summer in North Dakota especially. Where I have seen Aiden's development even deeper this fall is as a run-blocker as his well contained control and angle blocking has put himself and the Squirrels in prime position to break a big chunk play which shows fluidly on tape of Aiden setting the tone at right tackle for that offensive line. He also has developed a smoother pad-level even from what I saw last summer as he has highly focused on the attention to detail with his technique. He certainly will get more Division I offers coming his way very soon in my eyes and I am sure the FBS level will get involved too. Twitter
