Caleb has grown a plethora of visionary instincts with his midseason tape that I certainly like. He pops out quick into and beyond the first level of the which has shown a sound growth curve over the summer and has also added a couple inches and 15 pounds of frame since he was at our Spring combine in Sioux Falls. The 2027 linebacker from Elk Point-Jefferson looks to be one I like as a probable stockriser in the 2027 SD rankings after the season thus far. Twitter

You see a 6'3 220 pound quarterback and you don't expect the mobility outside of the pocket that Waverly-South Shore quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='800477' first='Zach' last='Ries'] has at his disposal. He also does a good job as an improviser in the pocket using his athleticism to advance the ball with his legs getting out of jams a smaller quarterback might have issues getting out of. He is a quarterback that has some raw skillsets as a pass-thrower and needs to develop his ball protection smoother. However, I do love this kid's high upside and position flexibility at the next-level with a position fit at tight end in my eyes. Twitter

Dominic if I recall was one of the fastest kids at the Dakota State prospect camp this summer and the last few weeks of tape certainly show off what I saw in Madison over the summer. Dominic I also see is utilizing his speed with great timing, as I always feel turning up your speed gear at the second level creates an imbalance in the secondary which in Dominic's case, causes the safety to react quickly and off balance as Dominic's finesse was just too physical and agile to follow thru. He certainly shows off as a slot receiver one that can find small seams in zone coverage and take advantage of them with his great hands in a tight window. Dominic is a 2026 prospect that already intrigues me with his character I learned about from over the summer as a prospect that plays with great optimism in developing his game. Certainly looks like one that will be playing on Saturdays in my eyes. Twitter

The deeper arm strength and growth in the precision department, is what pops out immediately upon watching the mid season tape from our QB4 amongst the North Dakota 2025 class. I also see Benjamin's progressions looking seemingly faster than his 2023 tape as he has way more torque in his release especially over the middle of the field. Did I mention Benjamin is still waiting on his first offer? I have significantly surprised by that, but I expect his midseason tape to open up some eyes. Twitter

I don't want to say I fell asleep last 2025 rankings update, but I did miss the ball on Fargo Davies 2025 athlete [player_tooltip player_id='802402' first='Malachi' last='Werrenmeyer'], as this young man has had an impressive first four weeks and Fargo Davies is rolling at 4-0. Malachi plays with every ounce of finesse I want out of a college linebacker and a great football that just attacks the ball right on the cusp of where he needs to be positionally on every tackle. Malachi certainly has sideline to sideline capability and has a wirey motor. Malachi is an ideal prospect you only have to go slightly outside of the measurables threshold for but get a sound asset on both sides of the ball, with a great fit at middle linebacker. Twitter
