Friday Night Rewind-Aurora at Revere

Friday Night Rewind-Aurora at Revere
Each week we bring you prospects to check out and for colleges to see. Like we do every Sunday, we have some prospects for you to check out in the 2025, 2026, & 2027 classes. While the off-season is always productive for us – giving weekly updates on fast-rising football talent – year-round we remain busy adding talent to send to college coaches.

High football IQ with remarkable instincts firing off the defensive end position with good breakdown abilities to stuff rushing attacks. Physically mature player with above average mobility to breakdown and collect sacks against speedy quarterbacks. Verified size at 6-foot-2 to be a strong prototype at the next level. Shows good speed in open space to cause damage, but with his size at 230-pounds is a load to bring down when a ball carrier. Through four weeks of the Ohio high school football season Manderbach is the most complete football player I have seen. From the physical attributes to his ability to make his size and speed translate to the field. Manderbach collected his first DI offer this past weekend to Youngstown State, if coaches are paying attention it won't be his last.

https://www.hudl.com/video/3/17961096/66e06c8bbf29d049af5bca49

As good of a right tackle as I have seen this season. When I stepped on the field in warm ups, Brody Markle couldn't be misses with his size at 6-foot-3 and a cut 270-pounds with a noticeably long wingspan. I was even more impresses at the first pass pro snap when he used fluid hip form to create a large pocket for his quarterback against a speedy edge rusher. Plays low for his size to maintain good balance with the arms to keep smaller players off his jersey. Picks up the blitz well, lets the linebackers come to him and is able to absorb hits and defend the pocket in pass pro. Above average balance to take on speed or power rushers. Markle has been talking with numerous schools after an injury shortened his junior season, but with tape on him now has made a big jump in physicality as well as form. More of an interior player at the next level, Markle is a player light on his feet for his size but can deal out the damage with his hands.

https://www.hudl.com/video/3/17286428/66ddf60e6d64f68b3e67a933

Simply put Tommy Tartabini is that gamer on defense who is his defensive coach's best friend. It's easy to see Tartabini studies his film and knows his opponent before the ball is snapped. Sees play development well from the linebacker position with the athletic ability to get past offensive linemen. Shows no hesitation when play side and has the ball carrier in his sights. Good length in his arms to wrap up and bring down ball carriers. Mature player who gets creative to get the ball carrier down. While he is slightly undersized for the position, Tartabini more than makes up for it with his athleticism. Uses his patience as a strength to sniff out trick plays and screens to disrupt them. Tartabini holds an offer to Baldwin Wallace and has already shown a lot through week four of his senior year, a player defensive coordinators need to keep an eye on as he continues to impress.

https://www.hudl.com/video/3/17961056/66e4f94fdc0b3fa5dc321554

A developing starting guard as a sophomore along the interior offensive line, [player_tooltip player_id='949419' first='Ryan' last='Ferrara'] is off to a promising start to his high school career. Good size at 6-foot-1 and 250-pounds for playing from the guard position with quickness. Shows good reaction to weakness against what defenders open up to give him. A smart player who can read and react to players of different strengths. Quick, and I mean quick, hips to swing players leaning to knock them out of plays. Overall strength is developing, has the technique locked in at an early point in his career. Plays well when pulling with momentum to attack an opening for his back. Ferrara's progression to varsity is a reward for his hard work and making that work stick as a technical lineman. Despite being younger than most of the players around him, Ferrara shows no fear once the helmet is strapped up and his the makings of a name to watch for coaches.

https://www.hudl.com/video/3/16322074/66e0919eda4c9b76b35242b8

When aggression is the name of the game when playing along the interior offensive line, then Joe Rozak is your guy. Plays hard from the snap with a mean streak about his game. Looks to upend defensive players by firing out of his stance low with his arms loaded up for contact. Keeps his feet under him when blocking linebackers to avoid leaning or whiffing on his blocks. Comes down hard on blocks when his assignment isn't lined up over him. Has quick feet crash down on defenders with good strength in his arms to deliver a strong blow. Rozak has shown good potential through the first part of his junior season with the ability to handle a number of assignments. He has been putting in the work in the weight room as well as off season workouts to make an impact for his team.
