About Ryan
Expert Analysis
Mike Bey | Prep Redzone Scout
Ryan played great as a Sophomore in 2024. His great play helped the Revere Minutemen to a 7-win season where they advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs and averaged 23 points per game. He lines up at RG. While run blocking, he is quick off the ball and uses his very good play strength to overpower the DT. He exhibits great physical toughness as he finishes the block to the ground for a pancake. In pass pro, he is quick and plays with a good base before delivering a powerful strike to the DL sending him to the ground.

is off to a promising start to his high school career. Good size at 6-foot-1 and 250-pounds for playing from the guard position with quickness. Shows good reaction to weakness against what defenders open up to give him. A smart player who can read and react to players of different strengths. Quick, and I mean quick, hips to swing players leaning to knock them out of plays. Overall strength is developing, has the technique locked in at an early point in his career. Plays well when pulling with momentum to attack an opening for his back. Ferrara’s progression to varsity is a reward for his hard work and making that work stick as a technical lineman. Despite being younger than most of the players around him, Ferrara shows no fear once the helmet is strapped up and his the makings of a name to watch for coaches.
