Moumen was the difference last week offensively for the Lions, without him they do beat South County plain and simple. He had three touchdowns last week making plays at running back and receiver, he looks to be a nice change up from power back [player_tooltip player_id='1297914' first='Harry' last='Maltese']. Between the both of them this does seem to have Fairfax offense back on track, but now that Lake Braddock has tape on him, can Moumen have a repeat performance?

[player_tooltip player_id='1349363' first='Penn' last='Morris'] when given opportunities makes plays, he tracked down a deep ball nonchalantly week 1 against Wakefield, he lives for the moment. I would expect the Bruins to be keying on Moumen and Maltese, perhaps this will give this speedy playmaker a few more opportunities?

I thought Mrad had his best game for Fairfax against South County, he looks like he has settled in with the new offense. It will be imperative that the senior quarterback keeps playing at this level as Fairfax begins their journey to the playoffs. Another good test this week in a solid Bruins defense should do him wonders if he plays like he did last week. Really like this kid's game, so I wasn't surprised to see him come into his own in their trouncing of the Stallions.

Tolson lives in the opponents backfield and is off to a great start in his junior season. Facing a stout offensive line will be a true test for the the Lions front 7, can Tolson and company hold up? Tolson gets off the ball quickly and has speed off the outside making it difficult for opponents to get the edge on him. Again Lake Braddock's oline may be the best he has face this season, if he holds up well, this will only favor Fairfax more.

I try not to talk about the same players more than once or twice but [player_tooltip player_id='1230176' first='Kai' last='Austin'] is making it too hard, he just makes highlight reel after highlight reel. Despite the Bruins setbacks Austin has not been slowed down, each game it feels like there is 1 big play for him at the minimum. He is dangerous in the return game too, taking 1 to the house already week 1 against Colgan. I have been hyping this young man up for a minute looking forward to seeing how he performs tomorrow night in person for the first time.

Fresh off his first PWO from Furman, defensive linemen [player_tooltip player_id='1231611' first='Trent' last='Pane'] recruiting is rightfully picking up steam. He is that dude along the Bruins defensive line, a lot of what they accomplish starts with Pane. One of the stronger linemen for the entire 2025 class, Pane will require double teams weekly. The big question for Fairfax will be can the other lineman hold up 1 on 1 against Pane's teammates?

One of my week 4 game ball recipients Tyron Jackson seems to have found his rhythm which should spell trouble for their remaining opponents. The lefty threw for a ridiculous 441 yards and 5 touchdowns in their win over West Potomac. He looked like the player my co-workers and I have been high on since last year when we re did the rankings. It does get any easier for Jackson as Fairfax boasts a stout defense that will be looking to pressure him early and often. If he can avoid the rush and get the ball to his playmakers the Bruins will be fine. He certainly has his fair share of targets including Austin and the gentlemen below.

Fellow William & Mary commit [player_tooltip player_id='1230203' first='Xavier' last='Main'] is having a good start to his final season for Lake Braddock. He too had a nice evening and was involved on a few key defensive stops early last week. No surprise about that as the Tribe did recruit him for his versatility and performance in many different roles.
