As the month of August comes to an end, the 2024 high school football season is in full swing in the state of Kentucky. With that being said, we just wrapped up another round of rankings updates, finishing with the class of 2027. After covering the top players at each position in the class, I wanted to take some time to focus on some under the radar 2027 prospects who are just outside of the top five at their position. To kick things off, here are some under the radar offensive prospects in the class of 2027 in the state of Kentucky.

[player_tooltip player_id='1200721' first='Jack' last='Bradley'] is a sophomore quarterback who is off to a hot start to the 2024 season. He has lead Bethlehem to an impressive 2-0 start. Bethlehem hasn't posted their Week 2 stats yet but Bradley was outstanding in their season opener, completing 11/20 passes for 201 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. Bradley has a strong arm which he is able to use to stretch the field in the deep passing game. He is also impressive when rolling out of the pocket, showing the ability to keep his eyes down the field to make throws on the run. Jack doesn't currently hold any offers but he is a player to keep an eye on over the next few seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='408839' first='Jamaurion' last='Berry'] is a player who is thriving in a new role as the lead back this season, helping lead Trinity to a 2-0 start. They have yet to post their Week 2 stats but Berry was dominant in Trinity's Week 1 victory over Bryan Station, running the ball 14 times for 138 yards and a touchdown. Berry is a hard runner, showing the ability to keep his legs churning through contact to break tackles without losing stride. Once he hits the open field, he has also shown the burst of speed to run away from the defense. Jamaurion doesn't currently hold any offers but I expect a lot of eyes to be on him this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='409027' first='Carlo' last='Chicko'] is a player who has been on our radar for a while now and is off to a strong start to his sophomore year. Lawrence County hasn't posted their Week 2 stats yet but Chicko was very impressive in their opening game, catching five passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns. Chicko is a dangerous deep threat, using his speed to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game. After the catch, he has the speed and elusiveness to pick up extra yards with ease. Carlo doesn't currently hold any offers but he should be a player to watch this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1330209' first='Aiden' last='Wilson'] is a player who caught our attention as a freshman and is off to a strong start to his second season. Atherton hasn't posted their stats from Week 2 but Wilson played a key role in their Week 1 victory, catching four passes for 54 yards. Wilson is a skilled route runner, showing the ability to use quick breaks in his routes to create separation. He also has explosive speed which he uses to blow by opposing defensive backs in the deep passing game. Aiden doesn't currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on over the next few seasons.

My final under the radar offensive prospect in the class of 2027 in the state of Kentucky is [player_tooltip player_id='334820' first='Leelen' last='Vanover']. Vanover has shown the versatility to play all over the offensive line, mainly on the inside at center and guard. He is very reliable in the run game, showing the ability to explode out of his stance and drive his man down the field. In pass protection, he has shown the ability to keep a strong base while absorbing contact, not allowing for much penetration into the pocket. Leelen doesn't currently hold any offers but he should be a player to watch as he continues to develop.
