Across the board in testing, Ayo put up a dominant performance. 4.46 was confirmed as his top testing 40-yard dash in Grand Forks and he was even more twitchy watching his change of direction which tested in the high 4.3s. In what I got to watch outside of testing from Ayo was how elusive he was as a RB prospect that you could quickly read is able to reactive to where the defender is trending and with his speed and change of direction can gravitate east-west from north-south. His tape shows off one that can get out of a tight area and use his sound vision to accumulate plenty of yards after contact. Still very surprised Ayo hasn't gotten his first offer yet this late in the summer.

Elijah has one I have probably covered since his freshmen year and I have continuously seen his development take shape especially this summer where he was another one of my running back standouts at the UND Flagship Camp. His change of direction was one of the best I saw from the running back class in Grand Forks as he also showed off excellent balance built with explosiveness watching him during the triple jump. Elijah is a quick reader of the field and empowers his burst during clutch times to break away from the defense and you could visualize that open field vision he had in Grand Forks as a pass catcher with great instincts as a route-runner with quick sudden movement as well with his first step. For his size, he is excellent getting yards after contact as the fluidity that Elijah runs with should continue to be damaging this year in the Cardinals rushing attack, as a prospect that should pick up steam from more NSIC schools in the coming month or less.

Jordan Nowacki, RB, East Grand Forks, MN 2025 Twitter

A new name that made my notebook in Grand Forks hailed from just up the road in East Grand Forks, in 2025 tailback Jordan Nowacki. Altough an undersized tailback, Jordan checked my boxes with what I wanted to see out of his finished speed and was solid with his change of direction as well. I was intrigued most by Jordan as a pass-catcher as he possesses a springy first step which early create separation, as I could certainly see Jordan being utilized as a wing-back at the next-level. I also from what I saw in Grand Forks believe this young man has even more upside to show off in his senior season with his agility, as its clear that since the 2023 season this young man has made some gains. Would be a great small school steal at the NAIA level for sure.

One of my favorite small town running backs in the 2026 class right now is LaMoure-Litchville-Marion's [player_tooltip player_id='1226996' first='Gunner' last='Thielges']. He is a running back that plays with a longer 6'1 185 pound frame that is a workhorse for yards after contact as there is plenty of fluidity that showed off in Grand Forks too which I loved to see with my live-eval. His change of direction I felt during the reps I watched showed off plenty of athletic instincts as his long strides show the test of finished speed the Gunner has also recording inside the 4.6s in 40-yard dash. He also showed off to be more durable in my live-eval Big fan of Gunner's football IQ on tape, as you can tell pre-snap his position angles runs clear with his athleticism as he one that even taking it up the A and B gaps that can go untouched with his suddenness of his speed. He is one that should have a rise up our 2026 North Dakota rankings for sure based on his camp performance at UND.

Brock was another small town running back that made a good impression in his live-eval at the UND Flagship Camp, The 5'9 180 pound tailback came in with a more-cut frame and faster testing numbers than what I had seen at other camps in past summers showing that this young man has been working to develop this offseason. Brock is certainly a tailback that when he bounces outside not only can finish thru contact but I like how balanced his footwork visualizes with what is ahead of him and progresses inside or outside based on what he sees on the second level of the field. He will be one that will be a great NAIA fit from my eyes.

Taye was a running back that I had on our "must watch" list at the UND Flagship Camp, as he certainly lived up to the hype in what he showed off in Grand Forks. Watching this young man's footwork was a sight to see, as he showed off some of the tightest angles I saw overall in the cone drills. The testing numbers with his change of direction also showed off what Division I coaches saw this summer, as Taye was very consistent with his pro agility with a 4.30 on both testing reps. From an instincts perspective, Taye was top-notch in the RB group as throughout the day this young man consistently flourished even with his pass-catching which I was most interested in watching out of him to show why he is Minnesota's 2027 classes RB1. Taye added to his offers with an offer from the Fighting Hawks after camp.

One of the newest Northern State Wolves commits put together a strong outing in the reps I watched. Brock has constantly shown off some of the strongest hands in the state thru contact and that was no different at the UND Flagship Camp in Grand Forks. His route-running has gotten even more crisp in my eyes this summer as his ability to get separation has gotten even wider since my first live-eval of him a handful of years back. The finished speed that Brock as in the slot for the length of the field is fun to watch on tape as a prospect that went for 1100 all purpose yards in 2023 is going to be a great additon to the Wolves receiving core upcoming.

Easton was as wide receiver I was intrigued to get a live-eval for in our North Dakota 2026 class, as I thought from start to end of the UND Flagaship Camp, this young man certainly showed off his upside. At nearly 6'2 and 175 pounds, Easton crushed it in the 40 yard dash for his size recording a 4.72 to start off his camp performance. Easton showed off a pass-catcher that plays with good balance with his route-running and is one that understands with his football IQ when he has the upper hand on a smaller secondary with the athleticism he showed off in Grand Forks. He shows off a possesion receiver with great upside to develop his change of direction, in which he showed flashed off in his live-eval but cerrtainly has another level he can reach. He also showed off a longer catch radius than we expected in the live-eval as a 2026 WR that I would expect as a riser in the 2026 North Dakota class.

Lance Santiago, WR, North Border, ND 2026

Lance is a new name I caught wind of at the UND Flagship Camp as one that is raw at the moment when it comes to his skillsets, but from what I grasped in testing the fluidity on his upcoming routes has a great bar of upside. He also showed off a smoother athletic base to develop further. Another one of our list of standouts in this wide receiver that progressed from start of camp to end of camp, and likely will be a name you will see on our watch list to see what he can bring to the table in the coming years.

Ethan is a wide receiver prospect that I knew where he stood with his athleticism from watching him on our sister site's Prep Hoops circuit as back then he was on my radar on the hardwood. Ethan was a flashed quickly with his 28.2 inch triple jump and 4.74 40 yard dash at 6'1 185 pounds. Ethan showed off consistency in the live-eval as he does on tape, as watching some of his reps he showed off sticky hands and had ones that could finish thru high amounts of contact. Ethan to me is a Outstate hidden gem that scholarship programs need to uncover now not later as I felt his athleticism as a multi sport athlete is a match for the next-level.

Kye Schlichting, WR, West Fargo Sheyenne, ND 2026 Twitter

Kye is a 2026 wide receiver prospect with an excellent background from his track performances, and one I was glad to get a live-eval on in Grand Forks. At 6'2 186 pounds, he had all the straight line speed I wanted to see, recording a 4.50 40 yard dash and was inside that number with his pro agility too which is what I always want to see when evaluating wide receivers as their change of direction is super important. He doesn't have any tape yet with the Mustangs, but man I cannot wait to see what kind of speed this young man brings to the table in the 2024 season with his tape as from looking at his testing numbers he has a great shot at the next-level.

Drake has been a common name we have called out this summer as you would expect out of our WR1 in the 2025 North Dakota class. The UND Flagship Camp I felt got the most reps out of Drake for the live-eval as he took full advantage of those reps for sure. One skillset that I thought was seen from Drake in Grand Forks, was the growth of his catch radius showed off more as you could certainly grasp what a great athlete this young man is with air time. If I had to name a camp MVP for the summer amongst North Dakota wide receivers, my vote would certainly be for Drake, as felt camp after camp he showed off what a versatile athlete he really is. I'll be intrigued to find out which NSIC locks this young man up at the next-level.

JJ Wahl, WR, Dakota Collegiate, MB 2026 Twitter

If I had to dish out a WR MVP in the 2026 class from my live-evals at the UND Flagship Camp, my vote would be for Winnipeg wide receiver JJ Wahl as I thought this young man not only logged a ton of great reps in 1v1s, he showed off full circle of the bulk of the skillsets he brought to the table in Grand Forks. JJ was one of the swiftest cutters I witnessed on his routes probably regardless of class, as the absurd amount of separation this young man was able to get was lethal in the reps I got to watch near the end of camp. He also showed off glue-like hands that was smooth bringing the ball to his body and is one that certainly multiple times showed off the change of direction putting a couple defensive backs on stilts during his reps. Having an older brother that plays for the Fighting Hawks, I would certainly believe JJ is trending in a similar way in my eyes as one that plays WAY above his measurables. Love this young man's upside in the coming years.

Bryce Schell, WR, Bishop Verot, FL 2025 Twitter

One of the farthest travelled prospects overall I have gotten to scout this summer comes from Fort Myers (FL) in 2025 wide receiver Bryce Schell at the UND Flagship Camp. Although he is one of the more undersized wide receivers on my standouts list, he certainly played bigger than the measurables will show off. I was mildly impressed with how well Bryce finished his catches thru contact, and played with a sound balance off that contact with his open field instincts he showed he has at his disposal. Bryce was a wide receiver that was proactive with his pre-snap reads as a wide receiver that I liked watching his football IQ take shape on every rep I got to watch in Grand Forks. He is a 2025 to watch out of Fort Myers with great hands.

Gavin has certainly grown from summer start to summer end with his hands, as oune that I felt at the UND Flagship Camp in Grand Forks has gotten tighter with his grip versus what I saw during 7v7 this summer. Looking forward to catching these Tech Tigers at a game this fall as the QB/WR combo of Gavin and [player_tooltip player_id='660460' first='Noah' last='Theis'] I will certainly enjoy watching up close.

Charlie was a 2027 RB prospect I wish I had watched more reps on but from the light reps I saw, I love this kid's upside he has brewing. For his age, Charlie showed off a great athletic base for his 5'11 185 pound frame and showed off some great footwork in the reps I watched. Charlie is one that will be a stockriser after the season in the 2027 North Dakota class as one that I cannot wait for the sophomore tape eval.

Jack was a 2027 running back out of Cloquet that although I got light reps out of him, flashed on the eye-test from what I watched. Tested well for his age and size, and during Indy drills not only showed off good footwork but I liked the strength his stiff arm showed off. Ran a 4.60 in the pro agility which I felt was promising to see for this upcoming sophomore.
