Flash forward to Friday night against Reading. Williams rushed for 240 yards, 2 rushing touchdowns, and 1 reception for 41 yards for a touchdown. The kid is a monster as a running back. He has a great combination of physical running style and speed. He rushed for 162 yards and two touchdowns. He is an explosive runner of the football who can score anytime he touches the ball. He is currently not ranked in our system but is a stock riser and a prospect everyone needs to check out soon. On Friday night he played well and made a ton of plays all over the field. He had 10 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, and a pass breakup. He is good in the run game and the passing game. He does a nice job of reading his keys and attacking downhill. Then I went back and watched his film. He for an eye-popping 604 yards passing, 7 passing touchdowns, and 1 rushing touchdown. And most of his throws were big boy throws and tough passes to complete. Friday night making his 1st start Grant was a difference maker for Ephrata. He was an efficient 9 of 12 for an eye-popping 214 yards. Grant hit a ton of big plays in the passing game.
