Brown was one of the most productive passers in the state last year, and he is off to an awesome start to his senior year, passing for 385 yards and adding 6 TDs against Commerce. Brown is athletic enough to make subtle movements in the pocket to evade pressure, but he is vastly a pocket passer. He doesn't put overwhelming velocity on the ball and has a longer developing delivery, but his ball placement was put fully on display against Commerce. dropping the ball on a dime over safeties and mixing up touch and trajectories to float the ball into hard-to-reach areas. Brown plays with tremendous touch and anticipation. I expect him to be one of the most productive passers in the state yet again this fall.

Miguel Brown is the definition of a game-wrecker. His speed off the edge is overwhelming, easily catching the edge and immediately sending the QB in a retreat. He is a striker, closing speed in a hurry and striking with intent. His motor is off the charts, shown on full display against Tucker when he ran what looked like 100+ yards to close in on a tackler. Added play strength is ultimately what will tell the story of his development. Still, his speed and violent demeanor off the edge are worthy of D1 attention. Brown finished with 3 sacks against Tucker and several more tackles. He is a senior sleeper worthy of some offers.

It was an outstanding week 1 performance for Jamarion McKinney, reeling in 9 receptions for 143 yards and a whopping 4 TDs. McKinney is an inside-out threat at WR, doing the bulk of his damage in the slot. He plants and cuts hard at the top of his route, allowing him to drive away from defenders and create separation at critical points in the route process. He flashed good hands all night and made tough catches in a crowd. McKinney might not possess elite speed, but he is patient with the ball in his hands and is patient when working in his route. He absolutely put himself firmly on the map with his week 1 performance, and a breakout season is in the works at this rate.

[player_tooltip player_id='618659' first='Jadyn' last='Carr'] absolutely exploded in week 1, rushing for 324 yards on 24 carries and adding 3 TDs. Carr is a smaller back, hovering around 5'8 180. He played with incredible patience and footwork against Loganville, carefully piecing his way through running lanes and creating his own yards by deceiving defenders. He possesses enough speed and explosiveness to take advantage of available yards and rally off impressive runs. For a smaller guy, he isn't hesitant to drop his shoulder at the end of runs and tack on a few extra yards. Carr's smooth, yet subtle footwork allows him to create yards and change directions with ease. He is fully on the map after an elite showing.

[player_tooltip player_id='416419' first='Rilee' last='Drew'] is one of the premier DB prospects in the 2027 class. He was electric in the season opener against Collins Hill, flying all over the field and coming away with 2 INTs. One of which was a diving snag. Drew is listed around 5'11 150. He is on the smaller side, but he is still in the youth stages of his development, and his athleticism should compensate for whatever he lacks in size. He has the speed needed to close on the football quickly and to stick on the hip of WRs down the field. He isn't lacking any twitch or explosiveness either. Drew snagged an offer from Auburn after his performance. He has several P4 offers under his belt and should continue to be a hot commodity in the 2027 class.
