Here is a quick update on a handful of new football offers and two Kansas prospects who have verbally committed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1115096' first='Jackson' last='Rumford'], TE, 6'5”, 225, Scott City (Kansas State)

Rumford is the second Western Kansas tight end to commit to Kansas State. He is currently ranked No. 53 overall by Prep Redzone. Rumford had offers from Northern Iowa and Fort Hays State, but has chosen to take his pass-catching hands to Manhattan. The Wildcats have also gotten a verbal commitment from Goodland tight end [player_tooltip player_id='733209' first='Linkon' last='Cure']. KSU quarterback and Maize product Avery Johnson and Prep Redzone alum will have some big targets to throw to in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='1213993' first='Harper' last='Engel'], DL, 6'4”, 250, Shawnee Mission Northwest (Northwest Missouri)

Engel is currently ranked No. 62 overall in the Kansas Class of 2025 and announced this week that he has committed to play for the Northwest Missouri Bearcats. Engel is a talented pass rusher who had offers from Emporia State, MidAmerica Nazarene, and Coffeyville Community College.

[player_tooltip player_id='1306168' first='Landon' last='Liepold'], WR, 6'1”, 180, Free State

Liepold has multiple college offers, but recently added Nebraska-Kearny to his list of suitors. The Free State wideout is currently ranked No. 40 overall. Liepold appears to be destined to attend an MIAA program. The smooth route runner also has offers from Fort Hays State, Northwest Missouri, and Washburn.

[player_tooltip player_id='1214913' first='Brady' last='Brack'], QB, 6'4”, 200, Garden Plain

Garden Plain's signal caller recently announced receiving an offer from Central Methodist University. He is currently ranked No. 147 overall and the No. 13-ranked quarterback in the Kansas Class of 2025. The CMU Eagles are an NAIA program in Fayette, Missouri. Brack a dual-threat quarterback also has an offer to play for the Bethany Swedes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1317781' first='Elijah' last='Berg'], WR, 6'1”, 190, Topeka West

Berg is a quick prospect from Topeka West. The Charger prospect announced this week that he has received an offer from Ottawa. He is currently ranked No. 404 overall. Bethany College is another program Berg has an offer from so it appears that NAIA schools might be hot-and-heavy after this explosive threat.
