Rankings Update: New Class of 27 Wide Receivers & Tight Ends

Anthony is also a basketball player, and that athleticism shines through in his highlights. On the field, Anthony shows an excellent ability to high-point the football for acrobatic catches against multiple defenders. Anthony also shows some electric speed - in multiple highlights he shows the talent to catch a short pass, elude a defender, and race to the end zone in the open field for a touchdown. A 4.4 40-yard dash time and a 3.7 GPA are some great numbers to get you excited to dig deeper into this young man. On the field, Majay definitely shows that electric speed with the football in his hands. I like the fact that Majay can change direction without losing vertical speed - that is a special ability that can separate good prospects from great ones. Alex has very strong hands and does a good job of simply using his height to win in jump ball situations over smaller defensive backs. Alex will have to develop his skills as an in-line blocker to help run block in the running game. However, I think Alex is good enough to contribute at tight end this season on the Varsity as a vertical receiving threat. I like his strong hands and good route running skills. Christian moves with good fluidity on a wide variety of routes. On a strong Lions team with a lot of receiving depth, Christian will have to wait his turn. However, he was named an All-Conference basketball player already, so that tells me he has the dedication and mental makeup to be an important player for the Lions sooner than later. Some work in the weight room and being the man on the lower level for now will prepare him to make a big splash in the near future. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
