I was able to visit with the Blue Devils this spring and speak with AJ in person. Watching him move around, he looks even faster and more athletic for this upcoming season. I considered him as an athlete because he shows some good ability as a wide receiver, but it appears he will spend the majority of his time in the defensive backfield this season. Take a look at our interview here.

Noah has been one of the most hard-working players that I can remember covering over the last ten years. Surrounded by talented teammates at Chambers the last three years who have gone on to college football, Noah waited his turn and grinded and competed every chance he got. His commitment to Lenoir-Rhyne is a testament to the fact that hard work can pay off. Noah projects as a slot corner on the next level and he shows excellent coverage skills in both man and zone responsibilities. Noah has joined the West Charlotte Lions for his senior season.

Morgan committed to play college football at Austin Peay recently and they are getting a safety prospect who can do it all in my honest opinion. The only thing I think that keeps Morgan from being even higher in our rankings and as a prospect are the physical traits. As a player, Morgan is instinctive and athletic in defending both the run game and the pass game. Morgan does an excellent job in run support and shows the ability to cover receivers in both man and zone coverage.

Justin was the true definition of a late riser in his recruiting, not picking up a Division 1 offer until May of this year. It started a flow of recruiting interest for Justin, leading him to commit to play college football for Mercer University. Justin is just flat out fast, and that speed impressed schools at camps that he went to in person this off-season. Justin also displays a strong vertical leap on his highlight film, and at his height I think he can play both in the slot and on the outside at the next level. A lot to like for this young man, and he may be a riser in our next rankings update.

With offers from Shaw, Pembroke, Allen, and Sacred Heart Universities all coming within the last couple of months, Keyshaun has been a hot prospect who has an impressive film upon evaluation. I love his size - defensive backs who can move like him at 6'2 and 200 pounds are not a common find. Keyshaun shows excellent coverage range in deep zone coverage. He also shows the ability to man cover slot receivers all over the field with excellent speed. Finally, Keyshaun is not afraid to come up in run support and tackles well in open space. A college may get a steal here.

Recently picking up offers from both Roanoke College and Hampden-Sydney College, DeAngelo is starting to see recruiting interest rise. First off, his 4.1 GPA allows all types of schools to recruit him. I like Deangelo's ability to tackle in the open field first and foremost. You don't see that in a lot of high school corners. DeAngelo also shows some good change of direction skills - I saw that in person at a showcase back in the winter. Finally, DeAngelo is a strong overall athlete who shows the ability to run with receivers all over the field.
