2024 Pre-Season Team Preview: King Phillip Regional

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>School Preview: </strong>King Phillip Regional High School is coming off a 2023 MIAA Division 2 State Championship. Head Coach Brian Lee has led the Warriors for 19 seasons, accumulating over 150 wins. King Phillip is a member of the ultra-competitive Hockomock League (Kelley Rex Division). At RB, Andrew has good vision and does a great job of making the first tackler miss. Andrew hits the hole hard and gets to his nose. On defense, Andrew plays cornerback. He shows the ability to match up well in man coverage with his length. I expect LaPlante to be a huge part of the KP offense because of his dynamic ability. On film, he shows the ability to get in and out of his breaks with clean footwork. In pass coverage, he shows quick decision-making and football instincts with the ball in the air. In the run game, Brandon will add on and take on a block.&nbsp; He tackles with good leverage and control. Brandon was a big part of the one of the top defenses in the state in 2023. He was a 2-way player at MLB and RB for KP. Aiden was a core piece of one of the top Massachusetts High School defenses. He has a knack for finding the football and plays with toughness. At RB, he hits the hole with purpose and breaks many tackles. He is a balanced runner who always finds his nose and falls forward. He is a physical player and reliable tackler that is stout on contact. William shows the ability to stop the run at the line of scrimmage and also play sideline to sideline with lateral speed. Bubluski can also line up outside the box and play in space. He has a very strong arm and moves through the pocket with comfort and clean footwork. He impressed me at the M2 showdown with his ability to throw into tight windows with velocity. Gebhard does a good job of anchoring and throwing the ball with a quick release. King was a high rep 2 way football player on a Super Bowl winning team. At RB, King is a yards after contact machine. He is tough to bring down and he hits the hole with physical intent.&nbsp; At LB, he shows good acceleration and plays the position with toughness. King shows the ability to tackle in space and run sideline to sideline.
