Preseason 6A All State 1st & 2nd Team - Offense

The Oregon 6A Preseason All-State team is structured to highlight those individuals who project to be the most valuable on their individual teams. It is NOT a list with just the top recruits. Instead of honorable mention picks you will see extended 1st & 2nd team selections. Also referenced will be the Offensive & Defensive POY candidates.    Please note that this is not an all-conference breakdown, so it will be much more difficult to make this team when incorporating the entire state. [player_tooltip player_id='402416' first='Lamarcus' last='Bell'] of Lake O continues to look like the best RB in the entire NW. He will be the primary ball carrier for the Lakers with Zavier Russell graduating, after going for 1100+ yards, 11 TD's, and zero fumbles in 2023. He could double those numbers this season.     QB's [player_tooltip player_id='285857' first='Nolan' last='Keeney'] and [player_tooltip player_id='406774' first='Baird' last='Gilroy'] will go head-to-head once again. I would expect Gilroy and the #1 Lions to play with a chip on their shoulder after losing to CC in the semi's last year. The 6-5 QB has all the necessary weapons and could be a 4000-yard passer. Keeney put up an unreal stat line last season, totaling close to 3000 yards (2,460 passing, 500 rushing) and 28 TD's in only 7 games. The T-Wolves graduated a D1 perimeter so the BYU commit will be asked to carry a heavy load. If he helps Tualatin to the Semi's or beyond look for him to be the POY.    I wouldn't sleep on Jr. RB [player_tooltip player_id='1094961' first='Jordan' last='Hicks'] who went for 1,325 yards and 16 TDs as a sophomore, earning 1st team all-Metro honors. Mountainside projects as a top 5 program so that will help from an accolade standpoint as well.    6-3 220 RB/OLB [player_tooltip player_id='312496' first='Hudson' last='Hardy'] will return for West Linn after going down for the season in game 2 last year. If he stays healthy, he will be tough for anyone to stop. Teammates [player_tooltip player_id='285868' first='Danny' last='Wideman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='406767' first='Wyatt' last='Smiley'] are likely to put up some big numbers once again. As most know, Wideman committed to Ducks for baseball, while being a 2x 1st team all TRL kid on the football field. He put up one of the best stat lines of any player in the NW, with 60 receptions for 943 yards and 14 TDs.   This year's TE group could be one of the best to ever represent the state, with D1 kids everywhere. Central Catholic's [player_tooltip player_id='426922' first='Andreas' last='Nicolaidis'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1187089' first='Seager' last='Milholen'] will rank as one the nation's best combos. UW commit [player_tooltip player_id='285855' first='Baron' last='Naone'] will get a chance to show what he can do at TE after dominating on D last season.    The O line is solid with PRZ's top two recruits for the 2025 class leading the way. #1 [player_tooltip player_id='406759' first='Zac' last='Stascausky'] committed early to Minnesota and then flipped to Washington, with Oregon St getting a huge steal in #2 ranked [player_tooltip player_id='406756' first='Jake' last='Normoyle'].    Other individuals on the 1st team include Junior's [player_tooltip player_id='402412' first='Joe' last='Weiler'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1110963' first='Aiden' last='Jakubauskas'] who will lead two of the state's top 6A programs up front.
