Normoyle has been committed to the Beavers since June, and his commitment has stood the test of time. He has officially signed with Oregon State. This is a big one for the Beavers, as I believe Normoyle has gone highly under the radar and will be a great starter one day. He has the tools to develop into an all-around guard. The Beavers are definitely thrilled to see him locked in.

Normoyle is a beast in the trenches and was a huge part of West Linn’s success this year. He was voted TRL Offensive Lineman of the Year and helped this West Linn reach its full potential. All you need to know about Jake is that he played left tackle for the best team in the state.

Jake and Zac are considered by far the best two linemen in Oregon. Some like Jake more, some like Zac more. I will not break down who I like more because that is not what this piece is about, but I am just telling you that it is a 1A and 1B situation here. Jake also plays LT for a loaded West Linn team, who will be the title favorite this year. Jake has great athleticism for his size and shows that he can move well in space while also showing the strength to dominate at the high school level. With another offseason of adding strength, top D1 schools will offer Jake sooner rather than later.
