2025 Team Preview: Franklin Lightning

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With the 2025 Oregon high school football season just around the corner, Prep Redzone's Program Preview series rolls on with a look at the Franklin Lightning out of the Portland Interscholastic League (PIL). After finishing 2-7 last fall and missing out on postseason play, the Lightning are looking to take a major step forward in year three under head coach Adam Grimes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Coach Grimes told me there's been a noticeable shift in energy this offseason. “Spring and summer participation have been great, a lot of good energy from our players,” he said. Franklin attended Linfield's team camp, where the group competed well and built momentum heading into August.
