Darryle Geter III | East Lansing | @D_Geter12

Utilization: East Lansing, Geter's team, plays him primarily at outside cornerback. East Lansing runs lot of zone coverage and allow Geter to read the quarterback. East Lansing's base defense is a 3-4.

What stands out: Geter reacts to run plays and pass plays very quickly. He is a very good tackler who does an excellent job of pursuing ball carriers. His ability to read the quarterback and his agility to turn into zone coverage allow him to almost always be in an ideal spot to make a play. Geter has a fast back pedal and he has quick feet that allow him to change direction well. He has good burst and it is very evident when he closes on ball carriers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1576938' first='Jadon' last='Bender'] | DeWitt | @jadonbender2k

Utilization: DeWitt, Bender's team, will play him at outside wide receiver. They will also play him at outside cornerback primarily. DeWitt's base defense is 3-4 defense. DeWitt was in man coverage often in Bender's highlights. Often times, they would play off man coverage with Bender.

What stands out: Bender is a very good athlete overall that can change direction well. DeWitt does a great job of playing off man coverage with Bender to take advantage of his ability to close quickly on receivers with his acceleration when they are running comeback routes, and in-breaking routes. He shows good competitive toughness not backing down from getting physical with wide receivers. Bender has the ability to tackle effectively and does a great job of working though traffic to get to ball carriers.

[player_tooltip player_id='567870' first='Jacob' last='Schorfhaar'] | DeWitt | @JakeSchorfhaar

Utilization: DeWitt will line Schorfhaar up at h-back, where he is off the line of scrimmage and behind the guard. They will line him up on the line of scrimmage as well. They will have him block on run plays and they will have him run routes as well. DeWitt would run man blocking plays with pulling guards often, with Schorfhaar in the game. He will also line up on the outside as a slot receiver. Schorfhaar plays the sam linebacker in DeWitt's 3-4 defense, meaning he often lines up on the strong side of the defense, usually close to the line of scrimmage in a 2-point stance. They will put him in the wide 9-technique, standing up in a 2-point stance. DeWitt will play zone coverage and have Schorfhaar cover the flats.

What stands out: Schorfhaar does get off the line of scrimmage quickly at the tight end position. He also shows the speed to work the middle of the field and get open at tight end. He is an aggressive blocker who has the ability to pass block and run block. At the outside linebacker position, Schorfhaar does show quick feet and ability to change direction, and it helps him to drop into the flats when DeWitt is playing zone coverage. He is strong at the point of attack when taking on blockers at linebacker, and can detach from blocks and tackle ball carriers. He can blitz and pressure the quarterback, move laterally, and is a good tackler.

[player_tooltip player_id='587855' first='Preston' last='Bohnet'] | Grand Ledge | @BohnetPreston

Utilization: On defense, Bohnet's team runs will run a 3-4 defense and a 3-3-5 defense. Bohnet plays the strong safety position and will drop into coverage. On offense, Bohnet plays quarterback, h-back, slot receiver, and outside receiver. Grand Ledge will often run designed quarterback runs with Bohnet. Grand Ledge will run power runs with Bohnet, when he is at quarterback, and have two pulling offensive linemen. At h-back, Grand Ledge will use Bohnet to go in motion and catch passes and they will have him block from this position as well. Bohnet will run vertical routes from the receiver position.

What stands out: He shows good quick start ability and can get up to top speed quickly. Playing receiver, running routes, Bohnet shows a lot of awareness and does not have much wasted movements. He shows good patience as a runner, has good vision as well, can find openings to run through. Good play strength is very apparent in Bohnet's game, he can win contested catches with receivers on defense and come down with interceptions, and can run through tackles and get back to top speed quickly when carrying the ball as a ball carrier. At h-back, Bohnet shows the ability to be an explosive run blocker, sustaining blocks is no problem for him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225688' first='LaDon' last='Hatcher'] | Holt | @ladonhatcher

Utilization: Holt will give Hatcher power run plays out of shotgun formation. Holt will go I-Formation, use multiple tight ends, and put Hatcher as the tailback. Hatcher will take direct snaps at quarterback, and they will directly snap him the ball to him when he is lined up at halfback. Holt will run zone run plays with Hatcher in the game, often times with Hatcher following a full back in I-formation. Hatcher will take direct snaps at quarterback and run read option plays. On defense, Hatcher plays outside cornerback. I saw Hatcher playing off man coverage, and off zone coverage in his highlights.

What stands out: Hatcher is elusive and has good change of direction. He has the ability to start quickly and shows good burst out of cuts. Hatcher does a good job of effectively using jump cuts to find openings when running behind his pulling offensive linemen. Hatcher does have the speed to break long runs. He shows a lot of effort and toughness and shows the ability to move the pile and pick up extra yardage for his team. At cornerback, Hatcher has the speed to turn and run with wide receivers. His speed allows him to chase down ball carriers as well. He showed the ability to compete with a receiver for a jump ball and create a pass breakup.
