2025 Tight End [player_tooltip player_id='1292241' first='Grant' last='Smith'] is an offensive weapon who caught the eye of quite a few FCS programs this offseason. At 6'5", he has a big catch radius, but what makes him a true issue for opposing defenses is his speed and ability to stretch the field from his TE position. His athleticism allows him to be moved around formationally to utilize his skill set. He accounted for 8 touchdowns last year, and I don't see him slowing down this year as he enters his senior season

[player_tooltip player_id='1292210' first='Josh' last='Crandall'] is a small-school tight end prospect from Oregon High School who hasn't flown under the radar, as he has hit the recruiting trail hard this offseason. Crandall, with a few offers under his belt entering this season, is looking to add more through his dominant play as a senior. He is utilized as a 'big WR' in his current offense at Oregon, which coaches will love, showcasing his ability to be a threat as a pass catcher. He is a matchup nightmare for defenders trying to cover the talented tight end.

[player_tooltip player_id='801305' first='Brady' last='Goken'] will have the luxury of focusing on his play this year, as he committed to Illinois State in mid-July, putting his recruiting to an end. The Redbirds are getting an all-around tight end who has showcased that he can not only make plays as a pass catcher but also dominate as a blocker. A recruit like Goken at the tight end position is a rare find for coaches because of how balanced his game is. There's no doubt Goken will dominate from the Y position as a senior in 2024.

Prince Barnes has impressed as a junior and at camps this summer. Barnes might be one of the most underrated players in the class of 2025 as he enters his final year. He has an impressive build at 6'3", 245 pounds, which allows him to dominate in the run game, digging out defensive ends. Barnes is also no slouch in the passing game, showcasing soft hands and being a physical runner after the catch.
